Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/01/26/art.rush0126.gi.jpg caption=" Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh responded Monday to recent reported comments by President Obama."]
(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”

“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”

Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.

"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

To hope that the President fails seems to imply that Mr. Limbaugh hopes that the country fails, which seems very unpatriotic at the very least.

I am beginning to think that it is time for all good Americans to put the donky and elephant back in the zoo! We as a people need to be united, and do not need to hear words that belittle our military men and women in uniform; the terrorists must love this guy. I just try to keep in mind that Rush does what he does because it is his JOB. More waves in the water puts more money in his pocket, and he is sloshing his way to the bank. Turn him off. Flush Rush!

Rush Limbaugh : Largest talk show audience with 20 million listeners and growing!! How do you Libs explain that???"

We liberals and conservatives with good, common sense explain it like this: There are 20 million+ individuals (grown ups mind you) who suffer from very low self esteem; lack post high school education; can't read with comprehension so they listen to the radio or watch TV that air programs that appeal to their low intellect. Yep, 20 million+ kool aid drinkers. "Rush says hate; Rush says be fearful; Rush says the world is square". Limbaughtown, USA! LOL

Let me explain something very simple to the haters blogging out there: stating that millions listen to Limbaugh, guess what , we Libs listen to him too, and while he is slipping and sliding in his seat we laugh at the ridiculous things that are spewing out of his nasty mouth. Half of his audience actually listen to him to be entertained & laugh at him. WE DO not to heil him as our new leader.

    Got it!!!!!!!!

Limbaugh is out of his mind. The only thing that could shake Obama is the terrible mess that the conservatives with which Limbaugh includes himself have done to our country. He should be deported like all other conservative pieces of trash.

You country cornbread. Don't you know that we fear nothing but God. Your rambling just shows the world what a sorry human being you are. What have you done lately to help out? NOTHING. You only speak hateful and foolish things.

Vengence is mind said the Lord! You had better watch out.

Also, you need to be very careful what you wish for silly because if the President fails – guess what – we all fail – you included.

Have you not learned anything from your ex President Bush?

Hey – be honest Rush – you make all this fuss so people won't think you are mixed but almost everyone is mixed these days and you just might not be as blue blood as you may think or want to be. smile – Now that would be a treat for all.

If Obama and the Obamites aren't actually fearful of Limbaugh, then why such a HARD liberal push to change the existing Constitutional Amendments to limit free speech and restrict and/or remove him – and other conservative talk show hosts – from being able to freely broadcast? THAT, my fellow Americans, IS fear! And, in case anyone has more than a 6th grade education out there, it is also a precursor for worse things to come.

And Rush will be proven correct. NOBAMA will fail. His towering ego will dislodge his menial accomplishments if he has any and he will fail miserably. And then his supporters will sink into despair.

Does anyone actually take this guy seriously anymore. He just signed a deal worth $20 million. He needs to maintain his ratings so baiting the President is not that surprising. What is surprising is that Obama is taking the bait. He is the President and needs to rise above such "childish" behavior.

Re: Rush's 20M listeners. That listener base is 10M brainwashed freaks. The other 10M are rubber neckers tuning in hoping for a train wreck. I'm one of the latter 10M. This guy is interesting to listen to in the same sick way the Hitler must have been in the '30s...
