Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/01/26/art.rush0126.gi.jpg caption=" Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh responded Monday to recent reported comments by President Obama."]
(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”

“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”

Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.

"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

rush limbaugh is one of the most irrelevant voices in american politics that i can think of.he is so biased i dont know why anyone who can think for themselves would ever listen to his hateful and negative diatribes.it is well known that he will not accept phonecalls from dissenting opinions.he should follow king george back to texas and let a more intelligent and honest american finally lead this country back from the abyss that the gop has lead us to.it will take a long time to fix what the criminals in the republican party have done to the constitution.bush and his cabinet are war criminals and need to be brought to justice.i can only figure that limbaugh is still high from oxycontin to still beleive bush's crap.

All I gotta say is the Limbaugh and now Al Queda are having trouble finding fault in Obama. So Limbaugh's and Al Queda's recruitment of evil will dwindle. Finally there is a GOD!

Limbaugh is a whacko, which is one of his favorite words to call others. He must really think he is hot stuff because it is totally laughable that Obama is afraid of HIM!!! It is best not to listen to crackpots like Wimbaugh, misspelling fully intended, because it is healthier to listen to people who are healthier than he is. We get rid of bug, we get rid of germs, we take out the trash, right? So it is best to take out the folks like him, who stink up the place. Anyone who would hope the new President would fail in this economy it telling. Rush Head, and his Ditto Head followers are the very one's who brought this entire mess upon us. He is a sordid joke and I totally recommend that you turn him off for your own health. He is nothing but a whack-job. A total waste.

It is amazes me that in this day and time that radio still has Rush on the air. The election clearly showed that the majority of Americans are beyond the likes of Rush, Cheney, Jess Jackson, etc. We are tired of the old way and we are a generation that has moved beyond them. It doesn't matter whether they are right wing or left wing. A new generation of voters has stepped up to make this country and the world a better place. We are not just making change with our votes by also by actions. Look around your towns and cities you will see us – we are the ones making packages for soldiers, we are the ones who are helping clean up neighborhoods, we are the ones volunteering all over communities in this great country. We are not going away – and our generation is done with Rush.

You and Billo The Clown should get real jobs sometime. Oh wait, there are no jobs, thanks to your repub foolishness.

Hopefully, the new President doesn't even know you're alive. I certainly wrote you off as dead about the neck long ago.

  17. is he serious?

CNN you have done it again! I never thought you would stoop this low, putting this mess on the ticker. This nut is an addict, and should be in prison. Anyone who takes him seriously is a nut as well. People need to concentrate on helping each other through this recesseion and not listen to this mess. This man is a total nutcase.

I, too, am scared of Mr. Limbaugh after hearing his inane comments during and after the President's inaugural speech. Insane people left to freely walk our public streets should scare us all. I probably shouldn't have used the word, too as it seems to indicate I believe Mr. Limbaugh's comment that the President is afraid of him. This I doubt, so let me just say I am scared of Mr. Limbaugh and the idea that people think he speaks truth.

Mr. Limbaugh, you are an extremist. Beware of extremists. The GOP is too big for someone like you. I did not vote for Barack Obama but now he is our President and I hope he succeeds. That means we ALL succeed. Understand? Get the point? Or is it that your extremism doesn’t allow you to tell right from wrong?
