Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/01/26/art.rush0126.gi.jpg caption=" Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh responded Monday to recent reported comments by President Obama."]
(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”

“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”

Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.

"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

Rush is a good example of a person who talks loud and says nothing.

Who pays to keep this lunatic on the air?

Doesn't he get that everyone is moving on – or at least trying to move on – to a new place in our socio-political dialogue?

No, Rush. Obama's not afraid of you. It is, however, just the opposite. You see, you can't even keep up with Obama in a simple statement, which said "people shouldn't just listen to Rush Limbaugh", meaning: people should listen to several sources to gather information in order to make a decision. Had you not flunked out of college, you'd probably be better at reading comprehension and listening. That's also why you keep confusing Centrist policies with Socialism. Yep, we get it now. You've decided to harp on the Socialist idea because you heard your girl and that plumber guy accuse Obama of socialism. Most of us know that you’re hiding behind the socialist agenda theory which is in fact your hooded robe. You may have a sense of humor, and maybe sometimes you might even make sense, but who you really are shines brightly every time you open your trap full of brimstone. The day that you become a faint whisper is soon to come.

"Rush Limbaugh : Largest talk show audience with 20 million listeners and growing!! How do you Libs explain that???"

Lots of Americans are really dumb?

Republicans are TERRIFIED that Obama might be a great president. Absolutely terrified.

I do NOT understand why our President would have a debate with a
drug addict. "Windbag" does not have the ability to bring credit to the
Conservative cause. He is a JOKE. He is in love with himself and
understands NOTHING about politics unless his "handlers" give
him the "Bait" to tear down someone at their expense.

I think our new President has greater concerns than Rush!! Yet Rush is only concerned about himself and his ego. Rush wants the President to fail.

Everytime I read a new report that estimates the mental illnesses rampant in the American people, I count them as probable followers of Rush, the poster boy for psychosis.

I'm neither Democrat nor Republican I do listen to Rush often along with several other talk show hosts of every party. I don't always agree with him, but so far with Obama he has been dead on. All you people who bash Limbaugh should actually listen to him before you make rash decisions. Most of you people hate the guy because you're told to not because you actually know why you hate him.

Rush is a vile, fat little toad that needs to realize that no one is afraid of him – not his Dominican boy toys nor his drug dealers let alone the most powerful man in the world.
Rush is as obsolete as the GOP!

I don’t care how many ways you look at it, you can’t justify Rush Limbaugh’s words and actions.

Rush… If you are so PATRIOTIC, why don’t you stop picking fights with the President and give us your idea of what plan you think will help our country to succeed.

Why don’t you SHUT UP and PUT UP some action toward a solution. 71,000 jobs were lost TODAY. Unfortunately, YOUR JOB wasn’t one of them.

Since Rush Limbaugh has all of the answers, and is the voice of conservative truth and wisdom, perhaps he should do us all a favor and run for President in 2012.

I don't know why anybody would listen to a guy that was arrested and charged with a drug felony. this guy attacks druggies and then turns around and does the same thing himself.
what an egotistical, self righteous, pompous, piece of crap.
The only one that is afraid of him, looks right at him from a mirror.
    he's his own worst enemy

I think this thing (Limbaugh) is losing contact with reality. If he is such a powerful thing, why don't he stop talking trash and run for president. It'll be funny to see a Joker like him. He is simply a big mouth as Koulter is.
