Limbaugh: Obama is 'frightened of me'

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/01/26/art.rush0126.gi.jpg caption=" Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh responded Monday to recent reported comments by President Obama."]
(CNN) - Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday that President Obama is “frightened of me.”

“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, [House Minority Leader] John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party.”

Limbaugh’s comments followed reports Obama warned GOP congressional leaders last week that they should stop listening to the conservative talker, who had said on air he wanted the new president to fail.

"Now this is the great unifier," he told listeners Monday. "This is the man who's going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bipartisanship and love."

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave reporters the administration's latest message to Limbaugh at Monday's press briefing: "Tell him I said, 'Hi,'" he joked.

Wow. A whole lot of name calling...i guess you have to go on the attack and get nasty when you have failed ideologies and no substance behind the arguments. the nice thing about all of this is you don't have to listen. you can turn it all off and continue to live in your 'i'm smarter than you all and i know what's best for you' world.

The one way to shut Rush up is to BOYCOTT his sponsers...simply don't buy anything that sponsers his show..
The other way is to just say NO and turn him off..as I did years ago..

So Rush thinks these policies are bad for the country. And how would he know that? This is like taking anger management courses from WWE wrestlers. Or dieting tips from Sumo wrestlers. Or dieting tips from Rush.

Rush is an entertainer. Not a good entertainer, but an entertainer. His words should not be taken as fact.

As for all you "conservatives" out there – hey, it is someone else's turn to drive. Get in the back seat and shut up so we can steer out of the ditch you got us into.

Limbaugh is a coward. His playground to be a bully on is that radio studio he broadcast from while he sits behind that mic, and screens his calls I might add! He said he didn't want President Obama to be successful. The President tells people they should stop paying attention to him. Limbaugh probably started catching heat for it, because he comes out today and attacks Rich Sanchez of CNN saying he didn't say it, though he is on tape with all of America hearing that he did! I mean even if you didn't vote for a President, you shouldn't want him to fail, because that means you in essence want for the country to fail. So Rush probably caught heat for saying that, so today he lies and say that he didn't say it. So not only is he a coward, he is also a lier. The President scared of him? Why would he be?! If he invited Rush to the White House for a sit-down, it is likely that Rush wouldn't show-up, just as he didn't return Sanchez's call today when asked to come on his show for a sit-down!

Let Limpbough spew his flaccid twaddle to the intellectually stunted lemmings that form his audience. History is full of propagandists ranting about anything they can to induce fear into the weak and unwitting – without any constructive ideas or solutions for what bothers them.

All intelligent Republicans should see Rush as a boil on humanity. They should denounce him. Uh, I do believe there are some intelligent Republicans out there.

Rush Limbaugh is a disgrace. To say that he wants President Obama to fail is saying that he wants America to fail,..us as a nation to fail. As a servicemember in the U.S. military, to me, a president is one that is our Commander-in-Chief, one that leads and we support and follow, regardless of party affiliation if we voted for that individual or not. In this apparent worsening economy, one is either part of the solution or part of the problem. Rush Limbaugh has shown that he is blatantly part of the problem and lacks true patriotism.

Rush Limbaugh is one of the most divisive individuals in America. On a daily basis, his words if acted upon by unknowing individuals would result in civil war. Why do we continue to listen to the sliver of truths that line his outragous and cancerous words?

That means that there are 20 million plus narrow-minded idiots who can't figure out that this kind of rhetoric is why the Republicans were hammered in the election.

People who are insecure spend their life cutting others down in order to increase their own self-worth. Rush claims to be a Christian. But the Bible, the standard of right and wrong for Christians, makes it clear to "esteem others better than yourself" and to "speak evil of no man." Rush, like everyone else, your need to grow in grace.

Poor Rush, he's desperate to be relevant, and he's not–at least to anyone who cares about this country.
