Who has Obama's e-mail address?

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/02/02/art.bb.gi.jpg caption="Obama is staying mum on who has his e-mail address."]
(CNN) - He's the first commander-in-chief to carry a BlackBerry-like device — but that doesn’t mean he’s reachable. President Obama is staying mum on the identity of the privileged few who’ve been given his new e-mail address.

In an interview with NBC Sunday, the president said only a "handful" of people are able to contact him through the super-secure device.

"Look, there are security issues involved," Obama said. "And so we’ve gotta make sure that I’m not - creating a situation where - you know, potential people can compromise our [security].

Obama also suggested the list does not include any world leaders.

"Typically, world leaders are going to be contacting me through the Oval Office. They know how to reach me there," he said.

The exclusive list of those who have the president's e-mail address reportedly includes a small group of senior aides and cabinet officials. According to a report in the New York Times, security precautions make it impossible to forward an e-mail from the president, or to send the president attachments.

It's also likely Obama's e-mail address will change frequently to ensure it remains secure.

Speaking Saturday in front of the Alfalfa Club Dinner - an annual event attended by the country's political elite - Obama joked about the ultra-limited access to president’s inbox.

"It's a very exclusive list. How exclusive? Everyone look at the person sitting on your left. Now look at the person sitting on your right. None of you have my e-mail address."

Who cares ? Seriously, for this article, you deserve a pay cut ...

On another note, this weekend I saw an article on yahoo about an AP investigation into Banks who are in line for bailout, bringing in foreign workers to replace American works IN THE USA , for the average salary of $92.000 .

Stop publishing nonsense articles and start reporting more details about this BS bailout because Taxpayer money is being WASTED BIG TIME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even if nothing really potentially sensitive is on this device, they have created the Holy Grail for the world's hackers. What hacker wouldn't love to claim that?

I just hope that the Secret Service has managed to disable the GPS function! I don't have a lot of confidence that any carriers will, and their systems are not that hard to hack!

Repubs...Stop the hating OUR PREZ!! You guys lost and get over it. We finally have a person in the White House who cares about us...THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. The media has chosen to continue to run stories about his email address...not Prez Obama. Repubs, remember the name bashing cost you all the White House; so move on from repeating this senseless stuff.

If you are a tax evader.
Call Obame he will make you secretary.
    If you are un-registered lobbyist
call Obama he will make you secretary.

If you are too embarrased for tax evasion, you are confirmed to be secretary. Just say you are emabrrased, without meaning it.

Read my article "Obama! placed on too high a pedestal"
type in article by shakir Mumtaz on any search engine you shall find the article.

I love that people keep responding "who cares" when it's obvious that you a)read the story (or at least I hope you had the decency to before commenting–if not it makes my heart sad) and b)commented on it.

Who cares? You do, and that's why this and other stories like it keep circulating. You click the link, you feed the beast!

And anyway, it *is* an interesting story because this is really one of the first Presidents who embraces technology and really reflects the American public. He's just as chained to his mobile devices and technological advancements as we all are. A President who's modern? Gasp!

You know, Naqib and TCM, your comments are getting more and more inane. While it probably could be that Daschle and Rep. Jesse Jackson might be on the short list (but I doubt it), you neocons are getting kind of boring with your repetitive crap about Bill Ayers, Rev. Wright, and Tony Rezko. President Obama NEVER cared two flips about ex-Governor Blagojevich. Go back and check some of the less savory people who were on former President Bush's short list...oh, but that's right, he didn't know diddly about technology.

As for ACORN, please. The election is OVER. Your guy lost. Sorry to break the news to you. And considering the ties that Senator McCain had to ACORN as well, you know, it's starting to sound more than just a little hypocritical.

I hope no one can ever crack the device. But then again, someone has to watch over his device?(CIA, MIchelle, GI JOE) =)
