Who has Obama's e-mail address?

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/02/02/art.bb.gi.jpg caption="Obama is staying mum on who has his e-mail address."]
(CNN) - He's the first commander-in-chief to carry a BlackBerry-like device — but that doesn’t mean he’s reachable. President Obama is staying mum on the identity of the privileged few who’ve been given his new e-mail address.

In an interview with NBC Sunday, the president said only a "handful" of people are able to contact him through the super-secure device.

"Look, there are security issues involved," Obama said. "And so we’ve gotta make sure that I’m not - creating a situation where - you know, potential people can compromise our [security].

Obama also suggested the list does not include any world leaders.

"Typically, world leaders are going to be contacting me through the Oval Office. They know how to reach me there," he said.

The exclusive list of those who have the president's e-mail address reportedly includes a small group of senior aides and cabinet officials. According to a report in the New York Times, security precautions make it impossible to forward an e-mail from the president, or to send the president attachments.

It's also likely Obama's e-mail address will change frequently to ensure it remains secure.

Speaking Saturday in front of the Alfalfa Club Dinner - an annual event attended by the country's political elite - Obama joked about the ultra-limited access to president’s inbox.

"It's a very exclusive list. How exclusive? Everyone look at the person sitting on your left. Now look at the person sitting on your right. None of you have my e-mail address."

Well you can bet he isn't exchanging e-mails with Enron, to adjust the nations energy policy in their favor, like the previous idiot in the White House.

OK OK.....who cares? he has a blackberry.....I'm still waiting for him to fulfill his promises. AS soon as he fulfills each and every promise I will print the article out and frame it. I will then show that article to my kids and grandkids and explain how that man is the first president to do what he promised. But until then.....

I guess the GOP is going to stay mad for 4 years, that they fell hard for an insipid man who couldn'y buy the nations affection with tax giveaways; and our president is already beloved, charming and intelligent. But that's terrific news for us: If they can't objectively see the difference, they'll run another loser/idiot with no chance in 2012.

    Permanent Republican Minority OH YEAH!

    Obama says,

"It's a very exclusive list. How exclusive? Everyone look at the person sitting on your left. Now look at the person sitting on your right. None of you have my e-mail address"

Not reported was Obama sticking his tongue out and yelling Na-Na-Nee-Boo-Boo to everyone.

Good lord.... Obama is the most narcissistic person I've seen. But I guess when the media participates in his cult following – one begins to see the reasons for his insanity.

Who cares for his email address. He should do his job properly. SAt the moment he is confused and he has no direction. Also he has appointed several cheats to his cabinet. This administration has cheated us before and they will do the same in future. Beware.

Most of us are completely "over it". We are very aware of who the President is right now. Fact is, get used to the comments. These were the same types of things that your liberal band of misfits have been doing for the last 8 years. Now, you say, "just stop picking on Obama. You people aren't fair...you're all haters!". What goes around comes around. There was never even a hint of support, or respect for the Presidency, from your hypocritical group.

And no, PaulMoATX...just seeing things very clearly...and you obviously don't like it!

Listen to you – "it's our time," "you lost", "get over it," "China and Japan are years ahead of us."

*Obama belongs to America, not Democrats.
*I don't recall the Democrats accepting Bush's two wins with any particular quiet dignity and grace.
*Neither China nor Japan (nor England, France, Germany or Canada, for that matter), has ever elected one of its minorities. America is light-years beyond those countries in that regard. So enough of Europe congratulating us that now we look like the rest of the world; we look better.

    "Our time." Ferchrissake.

It's far better to have a technologically-smart president than one who needs help to get into the Internet or one who does "the Google" on "the Internets".

I've noticed that on many blogs the issue at hand is often overshadowed by name-calling. Blowing out another's candle doesn't make yours burn brighter. This isn't the superbowl where your team beat mine or mine beat yours. How about working together to get America, not just the left or right-but all of us, stable once again.
    Have a great day America!!!
