Obama to name economic recovery advisory team Friday
WASHINGTON (CNN) - President Obama will name the members of his Economic Recovery Advisory Board and lay out its mandate at a White House event tomorrow, the White House confirmed Thursday.
Obama will appear with Paul Volcker, who is heading the new group. That panel is tasked with assisting the president as he looks to reduce unemployment and stabilize the markets.
Good grief, how many task forces and czars do we need?
I thought the Treasury Secretary was his Economic Recovery Advisor. Sure do have a lot of advisors and czars in the White House, with overlapping and redundant responsibilities.
This is really a sting operation to catch tax evaders!
I' m listening to the republican senators talking about their ideas. UNBELIEVEABLE. They are idiots. Cut taxes on business from 35% to 25% will cause them to hire people - RIGHT! Most businesses are losing money right now. They are going to pocket the tax break because no one has any money to buy their products. So people will stay unemployed. The republicans have no sense at all. The McCain bill is CRAP.

And now that he is getting resistance, he is forming a Economic Recovery Advisory Board? It might have been a good idea to form this FIRST. What did you base the recovery and spending of all that money before????
We are seeing the Presidency being run by someone who obviously has no management experience-–just as Sarah Palin pointed out-
Obama's vetting people were obviously not well managed since they keep approving people with big problems; and management of the stimulus package has turned into a joke with 70% of Americans disapproving of it as it is.....
"Community organizer" is just not a good training ground for President-
Then you need an Executive Branch.. They will decide if you are "The President of a Company"... A Democratic-World of Business. Who were here long before you were handed, This Company!! A World Business. Not a Church-Benefit...
Send green-card holders back home. That will give lots of us our jobs back.
How about not doing anything? I think the government has meddled enough. But what do I know? I am not an economist and I have not knowingly cheated on my taxes – two criteria likely needed for a position in the brain trust.

After rose petals are thrown from the heavens towards the "messiah" he will announce that kitty cats are cute and that the sun is indeed warm, Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann along with Katie Couric and Brian Williams will all agree that it was the "greatest story ever told" and tears will be shed by all.
The economic recovery team wil be brief in their remarks however, as they simply state that the economy will recover once the Obama team finishes paying back ALL THEIR TAXES.
The media will hail the empty vessel as a genius for knowingly picking all DEADBEATS so that we can get our money from them and spread the wealth.

The government makes plans for the market and the laws of economics laughs.
This President who has been on the job for a mere fortnight is working like a horse while being criticized by many who sat for 8 years allowing this country to go down the "loo".

Tell them their kids can't eat until everything is done. That's what we're having to do, as they drag their feet, eat at fancy restaurants, and keep their homes and medical coverage.
Better check on their nannies and tax problems to be sure they have problems. We wouldn't expect Obummer to nominate people who have kept their personal accounts straight.
