@Al, how can you say he has a plan?
How long do the remaining 50,000 stay in Iraq?
What has to happen for them to leave?
How many simply move from Iraq to Afghanistan?
How long do we stay in Afghanistan?
Where's the timetable for victory (or surrender) there?
    What defines victory in Afghanistan?
    What's the exit strategy?
Come on liberals; you asked all this of Bush. Speak up.

Broken promise on Iraq. Misleading talk through surrogates and fans about Afghanistan AND Irsael. His murky preppy-speak made (as planned) this happen. People actually told me he was a "peace" president.

Out of Iraq AND Afghanistan AND Gaza (through Israel) NOW.

He is leaving troops to protect the oil – pay back to his Big Corporate Lobby Donors.

    Iraq Withdrawal – Another Broken Promise;

First, you should get your facts straight. President Obama ran on getting "US combat troops" out of Iraq within 16 months.
lol, of course, after a whole 35 days on the job, you've got a pretty good bead on all those "lies" and "broken promises", now don't you?

FOOL. Only a true moron (read REPUBLICAN) would write that stupidity.

Get ready for the stock market to tank again....every time this President opens his mouth, the market reacts negatively.

But on the subject of Iraq...thanks to President Bush, this new democracy is nearing stabilization, and the time is at hand that we can start to withdraw. NO thanks to the liberals.... we would have been there a few years ago if their lies and inuendos had not created incentives for our enemy to continue their terrorism of the Iraqi people.

I can't wait to hear the shrieks from the far left of "another Vietnam" when our current President gets to work in Afghanistan. To be successful, Mr.Obama will need all the left-wing "peace-at-any-cost" idiots to keep their mouths shut so our enemy doesn't feel inspired to drag it out forever.

Please don't put him on all the television stations. Leave us a few choices instead of having to turn off the TV. I'm sure somewhere in the speech we'll hear the same ole "I need mo money, mo money, mo money" enough with it already. He's already President he doesn't have to try to keep taking mo money to try to make people accept him.

Transferring our troops from Iraq to Afghanistan will result in the same thing – they will be dead. When he campaigned about pulling them out of Iraq, he should have then gone on to state, they will be going to Afghanistan instead. He couldn't do that. How many votes would that get him?? My guess is not half as many as he got by "misleading" the public. Should have said lying instead of misleading. What a change!!! Dead is dead, no matter where they died or who killed them. They are still dead.

What is wrong with a President that tells the people what he is up to and keeps everyone informed?
Does any of you eternal critics actually know what you want?
This is called transparency! The govenment tells us what it knows, what it thinks and why it does what it does – it's a good thing, get used to it!

Washington to Michigan, Michigan to Washington, Washington to Ft. Myers, Ft. Myers to Washington, Washington toDenver, Denver to Washington, Washington to Ottowa, Ottowa to Washington, Washington to N. Carolina, N. Caroliina, Washington to ... and all on a private jet. But he proposes last night to penalize people and industry for having a large "carbon footprint". Does anyone see anything wrong with this? Before the "what about Bush" starts, Bush never said he was going to do anything about "carbon footprints".

    @ HateYT

George Bush, one of the best presidents we've ever had? What koolade are you drinking. Or should I shay KOOKade.

George W. Bush is the 7th worst president we've ever had. I think historians know a little more than you do. They, along with most of the country, including Republicans think George W. Bush was a stinker.

Do us a favor, take your meds and go back to bed.

What about the rogue country , Pakistan????

Are we STILL wasting money on those baasturds?? Bush was the BIGGEST mouron on the face of the earth to waste billions on them and look what they did !!! They (the so called non state actors!!) increased our Trade deficit with China by buying arms and ammo

Nope. Unlike you, most of us who voted for Obama actually LISTENED to him when he said that Afghanistan would be a priority for his administration, that he would do what was necessary to fight Taliban and terrorist elements in the Afghan / Pakistan boarder area, and that it might and probably would require additional troops. He said it, we listened, and we approved, perhaps not on the grounds that we like the idea, but we recognize that it is necessary.

Also, let's see if I follow your logic: we invade Iraq, kill or cause to be killed 250,000+ Iraqi civilians, and you think it's out of line when the person who ordered that invasion gets a shoe thrown at him after he is dumb enough to travel to that country? Is this sort of like the logic that tells you "If we screw over enough poor people, black people, brown people, gay people, not-Christian people, and people-who-don't-think-like-us-in-general, then of COURSE they'll vote for us! That's our winning strategy!"

    You guys need help. Bad.

Ed Henry – thanks for asking all the right questions at press conferences (so far so good).

Unlike your counterpart who asked about A-Rod and steroids, how insulting to take up the President's time and the nation's on some drug-user...no to mention a cheater, like A-Rod.

Obama can't stop campaigning and riding around in his Spiffy ride.
He keeps saying "spend wisely". What about him doing the same, that plane costs the taxpayers plenty every time he jaunts around the country.

@hateYT: "you left wing libtards are REALLLY gonna be pissed when he sends the troops to Afghanistan."

Listen up, right-wing reptard (sometimes you have to get down to their grade-level). I'm not going to be pissed when the troops go to Afghanistan because that's where they belonged from the beginning! King George redirected our troops to start an illegal war. That is why people are pissed about Iraq. Going into Iraq recruited more terrorists than we killed. Maybe you can buy a clue with your stimulus money.
