(CNN) - President Obama and long-time friend Marty Nesbitt shot hoops Saturday at a basketball court inside the U.S. Department of the Interior.
Press aide Ben Finkenbinder, who left the game drenched in sweat, teamed up with Obama on the court. Another Obama staffer and Reggie Love, an Obama aide and former basketball player at Duke University, were also seen leaving the game.
Obama wore workout clothes and a White Sox hat to the game.
Finkenbinder declined to provide many details on the match up, and he didn’t say who won.
No word on whether Ken Salazar, the Secretary of the Interior, was around for the game
Were you able to collect any of his inspirational sweat to auction off on ebay?
Why oh why is this considered news?
That"s change we can believe in. Who really cares.
I think all of us could learn a lesson from this like we all need a stress
reliever it would give our minds a fresh start for the upcoming week.
Just what we need. Another president who fiddles while Rome burns.
I would LOVE to play Obama in basketball. I'd kick his butt...lol. Maybe I could play him for a job at the white house?
Great to have a president who's got game!
Who cares the Obama's are really living it up at our expense, while people are losing their homes.
Who cares? He is bankrupting the US.
Why the hell is there a basketball court inside the Dept of Interior?
Cost of maintenance billed to taxpayers?
Obama better put his money where his mouth is and get the hell to work instead of playing ball, sitting in at games and prancing in front of TV cameras several times a week with empty rhetoric.
Take note fat Americans! The POTUS makes time for exercise every day. If he can do it...put down that cheeseburger and get moving!
Nero fiddled while Rome burned...............
Ours shoots hoops
He can change venues as much as he likes. Where else would he go?
Keep it up Mr. President. You need to "take care of yourself" and I'm pleased that you make time for exercise. As hard as the work is that you must do in "cleaning up the mess" that Bush and the Republican Party have left for you, I want you to make time for yourself and your health.
Glad the President can have a relax day, how nice.
Ummm...... I think CNN forgot that it's called a POLITICAL ticker
I love the job Barak Obama is doing as President. But honestly THIS IS NOT NEWS!
There was a story earlier on here about someone trying to give hussein AIDS by putting tainted blood on a sent letter. He may have been more successful if he would have put the blood on a basketball.
Who cares, really? Will you be notifying us next time he takes a dump too?
what is with this obsession with basketball? oh, that's right, he's black
good job President Obama, you have worked harder in one month than bush did in eight years; you are only human and you deserve some rest and relaxation just like everyone else. nobody complained about bush riding around on the golf course the first three month of his presidency. don't let the haters stress you out to hard; you and First Lady Michelle or doing an excellent job! i watched your address to Congress, the first one i've ever actually watched, and it was the best speech i've ever heard. keep up the good work and GOD's SPEED in your journey, we are praying for you and your family!
Ohhh, how exciting! Did he then go sit down and rest?? And what did he wear while he rested?? Make sure we get a report on what he does every minute!!!
I'm sure a lot of people will have something negative to say (mainly because they're bitter that their candidate didn't win!!!)...but I think it's nice to have a president who is down to earth.
Why is this in the news? Anyone?
I'm sure the Prez won the game.
