DNC chair: Limbaugh is the GOP's 'Wizard of Oz'

DNC Chairman Tim Kaine told CNN that Steele’s backpedaling from earlier criticisms of the talk show host proves that Limbaugh is "the Wizard of Oz, you know, who kind of oversees everything" in the Republican Party.
Earlier in the day, Kaine told MSNBC that Limbaugh is “clearly the godfather, or the he-who-must-be-obeyed in Republican politics these days.”
“When Chairman Steele over the weekend pointed out that the kinds of comments that Rush Limbaugh has been making, hoping the president will fail, pointing out that those were ugly and incendiary, I thought that that took some guts to say that,” Kaine told CNN.
“But then the fact that he backtracked immediately leaves me wondering, okay, so is Rush Limbaugh the guy that's really in charge of the party?”
Democrats are eager to highlight the GOP skirmish: Kaine made several cable appearances Tuesday and released two statements criticizing Steele after the RNC chair called Limbaugh to apologize for calling him an “entertainer” and saying his comments can be “ugly.”

I think the DNC has bigger problems like, finding a democrat that's not a tax cheat to serve on Obama's administration, and reining Hillary foreign aid spending.

Ahhh, the gift that keeps on giving. Careful though DNC. Don't turn this into too much of a hatefest. Just enjoy how hilariously pitiful it is, giggle yourselves silly and leave it at that. The fact is, this had nothing to do with teh Dems laying a trap, etc. The GOP is having a grand old party hanging itself without any help from the Dems.

Ha Ha Ha Ha. The repubs lost this recent election because their party wasnt broad enough. Rush is just making it narrower. I dont understand why a Republican cannot dissagree with Rush. Why cant a Republican say I dont neccessariy like Rush. And still be a Republican. We got Democrats of all kinds. Thats how we won. Democrat is Big Tent Party. Republican are Indian Tee Pee Party.
I'm so glad Rush is in charge of the GOP. He thinks this title bolsters his argument against Democratic change for the GOP to America. Only one problem...he doesn't understand that his "bull-headed" positions, which have been based on the "same old" ideology he has stood for the last 10 years while voting for George Bush, now makes him the GOP "poster boy" responsible for the economic "plate" George Bush just "handed" America.
