OFA ad calls on grassroots army to support Obama's budget

[cnn-photo-caption image= caption="The 30 second spot touts the president's plans to cut the deficit and create jobs through investment in health care, energy independence, and schools."](CNN) – Organizing for America highlighted its grassroots canvassers in an ad released Thursday, urging supporters to call Congress to support President Obama's budget.

The 30 second spot touts the president's plans to cut the deficit and create jobs through investment in health care, energy independence, and schools.

Watch: OFA ad "Door to Door"

"Thousands are going door-to-door as part of Organizing for America, gathering support for President Obama's plan to invest in America's future," says the narrator.

"You can help too. Call Congress and tell them to support President Obama's budget plan to get our economy moving again."

Organizing for America, the post-election incarnation of Obama's grassroots campaign army, is currently an arm the Democratic National Committee.

Funny that a republican was at a Britney Spears concert considering she has a song that sums up the average Democratic voter, "Gimme Gimme More". Libs voted Obama in to take from those who have worked harder and those who take care of their own families. It is amazing that libs actually feel it is their god given right to steal from others and now Obama seems to have given them a bible with his latest budget.

The economy is crumbling, the deficit is ballooning by TRILLIONS, democrats are approving billions in corporate bonuses....

High-pressure tactics to push through HIS $10 trillion budget WITHOUT considering any alternatives... without debate... without hearing conservative voices???

WOW... Hugo Chavez must be taking notes on how to ramrod a personal agenda.

Apparently Obama doesn't understand the difference between a leader and a dictator.

"A plan to get our economy moving again..." by taxing the life out of your kids, your grandkids, their grandkids and THEIR grandkids, to the tune of nearly 10 trillion dollars.

Barry Soetoro Dunham... audacity and brazenness you can believe in.

This is unprecedented. Rather than use the reconciliation bypass that Reagan eagerly employed and that Bush used to push through his 2001 budget over objections from the Dems, which Reublicans are now suddenly complaining about, Obama is going directly to the people for support. That means that congress will not only have to deal with their own opposing factions but will have to answer to their constituents directly at the same time. By engaging the voters through OFA and online townhalls, we can be a part of our own future and have a real voice in government. I applaud this President. He is still listening to us.

Title should be changed to "Socialism for America..."

Obama, your high-pressure sales tactics to get buy in from the uninformed Americans is slowly ceasing....more Americans, even the empty-headed ones that voted for you are seeing you for the socialist you are, and are turning away.

No one should support this budget. There has to be a better way.

Obama campaigned agianst the fisical irresponsibility of Bush.

The 8 Bush years added 2.5 trillion to the national debt. Raising it from 3.3 trillion to 5.8 trillion.

The Obama budget based on the CBO numbers would take us from 5.8 trillion to 15.1 trillion, an increase of 9.3 trillion.

Obama says Bush increase of 2.5 trillion bad, my increase of 9.3 trillion good.

And when he is asked hard quesitons or critizied about this, he calls it petty trivial cable chatter.

This should scare everyone. All you young people who support Obama, this is your debt. I retiere in 10 years and will have a very modest income, won't be paying any more taxes or very little. You young people will be in your prime earning years. This is your bill. China is already balking at purchasing more US debt in Obama's first 2 months of his first year. Who will finance this 9.3 trillion defict increase? LOL all you young Obama supporters, God help you all.

The more people know, the more they are educated on the facts and the history, the more they will understand that Obama is on the right track.

Of course the media loves Obama, because they are for the most part well educated and well informed. The Republicans are increasingly the coalition of the powerful, the greedy, the stupid, the easily deluded, and those longing nostalgically for 1950.

obama is nothing but a lowlife liar.
And 50% of the people in this country that support him and his agenda because they don't know any better are DIRT STUPID.

I did watch the add and THANK YOU for the phone number.
I'll be calling Congress and tell them I DON'T support the President's budget plan.

I'm sure there are many other that will thank you for the number so they can call Congress to let them know they don't support the budget plan either.

Sure must be worried about this budget plan not passing. Why else would you work so hard to pass it. Could many more of us know it's a mistake.
P.S. Just got off the phone to let our Congressman know I do not support the President's Budget Plan. Thanks again for the phone number and I'll be sure to pass it all around to my friends and neighbors.

    President Obama

Will the president try to introduce or push threw a socialistic approach to the Medicare system; to include those illegal immigrants that didn't participate in working for such rights or privilege?

Please help us all to know, and understand how this ballooning deficit will be an asset or how it’s going to help; but, rather not drag us down even more in the future?

At this point in time there can be no right or wrong budget only one which will allow us to survive. There should be no opposition from anyone to our President's requests as there is nobody qualified to lodge any complaints since they are all guilty of irresponsibility. The President's budget allows for new directions and since te old directions didn't pan out so well, where's the arguments??? Let's just try something new since all that can happen is our collapse which is already in progress!!!
