Obama being briefed on pirate negotiations

WASHINGTON (CNN) - As the FBI and U.S. Navy continue to negotiate with Somali pirates for the release of the kidnapped American captain, a senior administration official says President Obama is "receiving continuous updates" on the situation. The official added that these briefings are being conducted by the president's national security team.

When asked if the president had spoken to the family members of the kidnapped captain, the official replied, "no, he hasn't."

And this is why I am not POTUS. My course of action would be to locate, sweep and clear. Make things go boom.
If they know where these guys are, I would send them a message (somthing like a note attatched to a brick) it would say,
"I know where you are, and I am coming for you...ALL OF YOU!!!"
and then things around them would start exploding. I'm talking about a ruthless attack on pirates...yarrrghh!

Change the law so ships can carry firearms and this problem goes away.

Why do you think these small boats can take a 90 foot ship?

Once a few pirates are killed word will get out they are now armed... and the problem ends.

Choices... couple grand for guns on a ship,,, 100K in ransoms for the ships,,, or multi million dollar Naval operations...

    Pretty plain to me
