Prosecutor to question Karl Rove on Friday

[cnn-photo-caption image= caption="Karl Rove, a former aide to President George W. Bush, will be interviewed about the firing of several U.S. attorneys in 2006, a source tells CNN."]
WASHINGTON (CNN) - Former Bush administration official Karl Rove is scheduled to be interviewed Friday about why a number of U.S. attorneys were fired in 2006, according to an attorney in private practice familiar with the

Rove will be questioned by Nora Dannehy, a Connecticut prosecutor who was appointed last year to lead an investigation into whether any Bush administration officials broke any laws in connection with the dismissals.

A spokesman for Dannehy would not comment when asked whether a meeting is scheduled with Rove.

Rove's attorney, Robert Luskin, would not comment on whether his client will be interviewed Friday. But he told CNN, "Rove has said since Ms. Dannehy was appointed that he would cooperate fully with her investigation."

A Justice Department report last year found the firings of some U.S. attorneys were influenced by political considerations.

Hey, I'm a liberal and I despise Pelosi. I think she's a whack job and the fact that she's third in line for the presidency actually terrifies me.

Rove is a creep, period. We need some new faces representing Washington and ASAP.

Repubs, I'll strike you a deal. We disown Pelosi if you do likewise to Rove.

"Prosecutor to question Karl Rove on Friday"

Let's change that headline, shall we?

"Karl Rove to do more lying on Friday"

He is the most vile, repugnant, filthy, foul, evil, dirty, repulsive, nauseating, vulger, sleazy, little creature that has ever slithered across the White House floors leaving a slime trail a mile long. I could care less if he ends up in a jail cell or not- just please – somebody make him go away!!!

When is Bill Clinton going to be questioned by a prosecutor about his firing of all the US Attorneys in 1993?

Oh that's right – it's only ok when a Democrat does it.

All Rove needs to say is – "US Attorneys serve at the pleasure of the president......PERIOD."

Why is it that everytime one of the Bushies are "questioned", Bill Clinton ends up being dragged into the conversation? Gotta get the subject changed, hun? Lets have FULL disclosure on Rove and let the chips fall where they may. Same applies to Pelosi when her time comes. Either stick to the story or blog elsewhere.

Looking forward to 4 years from now when all of the Obama tax cheaters, liars and thugs are answering the questions. Perhaps Chalie Rangel can get a question in, I am sure he will still be in office because the libs don't have the stones to question him about his tax cheating ways.

If Pelosi knew, that is one thing. That does not mean she authorized it. I really do not think she was in on the final decision to violate our laws through torture, that came from the white house.

I remember when Bill Clinton lied about Monica.

I remember when Hillary Clinton lied about sniper fire.

    Rangel lied about his taxes.

    Edwards and his wife.

    Pelosi and the CIA brief.

And somehow, the Republicans are the liars.

I am sensing quite a lot of frustration on the right to distract attention away from Cheney, Rove, Bush, et. al. Each of you are so determined to get your opinions out that you aren't able to even stick to the theme of the article you are commenting on. You all realize, no doubt, that other than yourselves no one really gives a rats behind what any of you think?

I swear, it's like conservative posters get a memo telling them what to say when confronted with the issues of the day.
Bill Clinton fired those attorney's at the beginning of his tem which is customary. Bush fired those attorney's after they failed to prosecute Democratic contenders. Bush politicized the DOJ for partisan gain, Clinton did not.
You hope that people don't know this. You hope that people are ignorant of this fact, because that is the only way you can prove your point. Stop depending on the ignorance of the people when you argue. Intelligent people think you are pathetic when you do this

To Kristin May 15th, 2009 10:37 am ET – About mid-way through 2013, when we're looking back at the incredible discgrace that the Obama administration was, we'll find out the Emmanuel made Rove look like an angel (going on your lies about him).

Your post just goes to show that not only do libs fill their lives with lies and hate, but that they are all dim-witted lemmings. Who gave you your talking points today? MSNBC, Jeanine Garafalo?

Soon you all will be irrelevant, and we won't have to listen to your drivel any more.
