I wouldn't be surprised at all if Nancy voted for Obama – and not just because they both share the same views on stem cell research. Nancy, like Colin Powell, is likely repulsed by how the party of Reagan has become so morally and constitutionally corrupted under Bush/Cheney.

All you Reaganites are the ones who need to get your facts straight. Read Krugman's column in the New York Times. Reagan was only into it for himself and his rich cronies. The mess we are in right now is the direct descendent of his policies and "values." His death, and the way he died, was a fitting end for one of the worst leaders the world has ever known. I hope for nothing less for the rest of you Republican scum.

Typical greedy Republican who thinks the rich should have everything and everyone should work for the rich if they want to get rich or want to survive

Republicans are uncapitalistic and unamerican, just greedy republican pigs who have never worked a day in their lives and need other people to work and starve in order to make them more money

Wow, I guess that means the Republicans beloved goddess Nancy Reagan is 'palling around with terrorists' or a 'socialist' or a 'fascist' or whatever idiotic name the 21%ers are calling our President now. That said, I hope these two classy ladies have a nice dinner together.

  7. Isn't everyone smarter than a FOX NEWS spokesmodel?

Will she bring Ronnie's ghost with her? You know, she admittedly has been talking to him at night. Maybe she can discuss all the expensive china she bought for multiple thousands when the economy was so poor and how the Rushcheneycans thought that was O.K.

Of course one of the saddest parts of Reagan's legacy besides trading arms to Iran for hostages, was that he cut and ran from Lebanon shortly after our Marines were killed there by terrorists. That made the United States look weak and encouraged generations of new terrorists to continue strike at the US as they did when they saw another weak Republican President on 9/11.

All the hate and anger is just stirring up more nut-jobs. Those of you that NEVER say anything positive or good should keep your mouths shut.

Maybe the nuts will take their guns and go after the hate-mongers. That would be a good thing.

Leave present and previous first-ladies out of your hate-mongering.

I hope hey have a nice visit.

all the rich republican pigs who got rich off of Reagans massive spending and his war profiteering love Bush and Love Reagan, that is why they are making a statue for him, it is only now that Americans have now come on to Republican greed and that is why Bush is hated as he is

The Republican scum has done an excellent job of proping up Reagan to be a hero, but anyone who knows anything knows what a piece of garbage he is

Reagan is the reason why America is such a hell hell now, and all the trust fund babies, war profiteers, oil men and corporate scum are having the last laugh

___ America, this country use to be a great place now it is a hell hole to the disease of the Republican pig

Facts from the "New York Times" please you might as well ask James Carville or Paul Begala their take. Besides this is an op-ed piece that is pure opinion not fact. Duh If it is published it must be true.

Reading some of the comments here shows us exactly why we are having the problems that we do. Too many people only care about their own agenda. Liberals can't admit that Regan was actually a pretty good President. As someone who did not like him much when he was in office, in retrospect, I can see that his foreign policy positions were very good. Yes, he wasn't great on the economy, but he didn't tank it either. In one conservatives comments, FDR is listed as one of the worst Presidents ever. Really!! He only got us thru the worst depression ever, and the worst war in the history of the world. But you could never admit that. At least you concede that Bush Jr. was horrible. Then there is the poster who states that Clinton started trade with China. Do a little research. It was actually your own Tricky Dick Nixon who went to China and paved the way for trade with China. I happen to think he was absolutely right in doing this. Some of you people need to start actually thinking for yourself.

Reagan should not be celebrated so. He gave arms to the Afghans, Iranians, and Iraqis, and he gave amnesty to millions of undocumented illegals. He authorized illegal wars in Central America and is responsible for the death of hundreds of thousands. He created the mess we have today, and he is a war criminal.

OK CNN, please print, please. –
FRANK, is that all you got? The telepromter criticism? You people are absolutey pathetic with your negative comments about the telepromter that you don't realize it's a smart thing for him to do. Just imagine if McCain was prez in front of the mic, it would be too hard to watch for everybody. McCain, not to mention Squarechin/hook nose Palin, would sound stupid with or without a teleprompter. President Obama is the smartest man in the world.

Funny thing is that the President only has a little influence over the economy. It can not be controlled as the Global Market will dictate.

But you libs keep waiting for the Wizard Oz to come along to pull all the right levers and push all the right buttons.

Take reponsibilty for your self and stop crying about what others have.
