Wright: 'Them Jews' won't let Obama talk to me

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/06/10/art.0610.revwright.gi.jpg caption="The Rev. Jeremiah Wright, the former Chicago pastor, is again making waves over recent comments about his current relationship with the commander-in-chief."]

(CNN) - The Rev. Jeremiah Wright, the former Chicago pastor whose racially-charged sermons threatened to implode President Obama's primary bid last year, is again making waves over recent comments about his current relationship with the commander-in-chief.

"Them Jews aren't going to let him talk to me," Wright told Virginia newspaper The Daily Press when asked if he still spoke with Obama. "I told my baby daughter, that he'll talk to me in five years when he's a lame duck, or in eight years when he's out of office."

"They will not let him to talk to somebody who calls a spade what it is," he added. "I said from the beginning: He's a politician; I'm a pastor. He's got to do what politicians do."

The former pastor of Chicago's Trinity United Church of Christ, where Obama was a congregant for nearly two decades, also told the paper he holds no grudges against the president's very public break from Wright last year.

"He's my son. I'm proud of him," Wright said. "I've got five biological kids. They all make mistakes and bad choices. I haven't stopped loving any of them. He made mistakes. He made bad choices. I've got kids who listen to their friends. He listened to those around him. I did not disown him."

Wright, who became a lighting rod for criticism last year after members of the media unearthed controversial sermons criticizing the U.S. government, also said he has no regrets for the heated language he has used on the pulpit.

"Regret for what…that the media went back five, seven, 10 years and spent $4,000 buying 20 years worth of sermons to hear what I've been preaching for 20 years?" he said. "Regret for preaching like I've been preaching for 50 years? Absolutely none."

The White House is not commenting on Wright's remarks.

Rev. Wright is the liberal version of Rush Limbaugh. Both spew forth hatred, racism, intolerance and bigotry.

I hope that Wright is Wrong about he and Obama "catching up on old times" when Obama is out of office. If Obama is still going to keep this kind of company, I hope that he decides to do it while the media's eye is on him. Then will we still have a chance (at the ballots) to respond to being lied to.

Wright is irrelevant and is frankly... a loser. He should be ashamed.

    the connection is simple.

Rev Wright is the father of Michelle's daughters.
that is the way Wright ran his 'church.'
all female members were considered harem material.

The dirty little secret of the Democratic Party, black racism, is alive and well. Every time an African-American gets ahead, out pops a Rev. Wright to fan the flames of racism and anti-semitism. And we wonder why Bill O'Reilly and Shawn Hannity have such a large audience?

Pray for Rev. Wright. Hate has filled his heart and he has become a lost lamb. He's a very bitter man. The Obamas must be very disappointed with the anger and hate that is consuming someone they thought so highly of. It's possible his age is a factor. He has preached the theology of victimization yet he has done so much for the poor and disadvantaged in the past. Don't judge him, pray for him.

It really is interesting what you can tell about people's own faith by their comments... if you believe everything your minister says you are in a cult not a place of worship. Supposedly you are on a journey to reach God, not the preacher... they are there to give you their views, you do not even have to agree... that is not what church is about... again that is a cult!

Apparently, he didn't learn the lesson that he should have when Obama left the church and gave his speech on race. It seems that Wright doesn't understand that Jews aren't in charge. If Jews were in charge, then wouldn't it stand to reason that the Arabs would be flattened against the sand they cling to? He doesn't understand.

The racist pastor is back. What does he really want out of all this? Donations for his church? Is he planning a book?

Why doesn't this fool just fade itno the sunset? He's so full of himself, he can't admit that he's the one making the "bad choices" by putting his own foot in his big mouth.

Obama sat in Wright's church for 20 plus years, now try to convince me that Wright's beliefs haven't rubbed off on Obama. It will never happen.

2010 the people will send a message. The same people who were against Obama, with the addition of those who realize they were fooled by Obama will have their voices heard.

Those of us not looking for a handout, in addition to those of us who thought they would get one and are seeing that was never going to happen will have their voices heard…

Those of us who knew that Obama would not come through with his promises just as he did to the people of IL, in addition to those who now have their eyes open as they see this administration saying that they "over stated" and were "overly optimistic" will have their voices heard.

the list goes on and on…. weather people vote Dem. Ind. or Rep. One thing is for sure never again will a majority fall for the no substance big wishes and promises campaigning again.

2012 is too far away to make any guesses of intelligence… this Administration may come around and actually try to help people… or 2012 will be very interesting.

You will notice this post does not contain hurtful comments nor name calling... Let us please conduct ourselves with honor.

This pig should go on tour with Jon Voigt and Rush Limbaugh. He is the biggest stain on Obama's personal history.

  25. When does the pattern become clear?

Love you gutless Liberals who can't just add 2 plus 2 and come up with Obama was a congregant in his church for over 20 years, married Shelly and he and baptized his kids so there are TIES to him as in "I can no more disown him than I can disown the black community." Remember that direct QUOTE?

He had to disown him ONLY because more of his hateful words came out and that is the ONLY reason why he did, the ONLY reason.

So he sat in the church for 20 years and heard nothing "negative" from this guy?

Really, you people are that stupid aren't you?

Need to paint Rush, Hannity and Newt with the same Brush geniuses, post any of their quotes that are even close to what this "preacher" has said, NOTHING is even close.

Wise latina woman in the courts and racist as all hell pastor, sorry if I sound "typical", but all the proof was their but you dumb as all hell sheep ignored it as you do now.

My bad, It is all Bush's fault, or Palin or McCain or Reagan.............

    One and done, EXPERIMENT failed.
