Palin tight-lipped on political future

(CNN) - Sarah Palin told CNN's Wolf Blitzer Friday she's not ready to announce any decision on whether she will seek re-election as governor of Alaska in 2010 or seek the Republcian presidential nomination in 2012.

"I'm not definitely going to do anything yet," said the former Republican vice presidential candidate. "What I'm trying to get done for Alaska right now is to get that Alaska gas line built. We need those energy sources flowing through North America. That's what my focus is."

Pressed if she had made a decision privately about future plans, Palin said "No decision that I'd want to announce today."

In a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll released last week, Palin was effectively tied with former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee as the top pick by Republicans for the party's 2012 presidential nomination.

I truly admire Palin as a self-made woman - she had nobody helping her and she rose to become Governor of Alaska, she has taken on the big oil companies and forced them to return some of their profits back to the people of Alaska and she even took on the corrupt politicians in Alaska and forced them out. She is an amazing woman. And, I consider her a real role model for women in our society.

If President Obama spoke out every time a right wing loon made a comment about him that would be all he could ever do. I can;'t believe Sarah would lower herself to have a spat with a late night comedian. She is always in the news whining about something but rarely is she talking about relevant issues.
    She needs to grow up.

All these Palin supporters have really fallen and bumped their delussional heads if they think Sarah Palin scares anyone.

The only ones scared are the Republicans themselves, they are like a chicken with it's head cut off, doing nothing but thumping around.

Sarah Palin does these interviews and can't even speak proper English or make complete coherent sentences!!!

This is who Republicans claim is qualfied run for President? It took Sarah Palin 5 colleges to get a basic journalism degree. Are you kidding me?

No where have we ever heard Sarah Palin or First Dude promoting an Ivy League education for their kids, their too busy pimping them out for a quick political buck!! Gov. Palin exploited Bristol during and after her pregnancy more than anyone else, and yet they continue to play the trailer trash victim. Talk about stupid IS what stupid DOES!!!!

This brainless wonder will do anything to stay in the media spotlight. Just look at her fake "fued" with David Letterman. Even after the joke was explained to her, she STILL persists in misunderstanding it to keep the spotlight on herself. The woman is a moron.

This is to all those who say "We won – you lost. So sit down and shut up. You don't count." One side wins in every election. We can hope the results are good for the people. The support of the people is similar to quicksand when they think their trust was betrayed. Those in power need to heel the will of all the people and do what is best for the people. Anyone who wins less than 70-80% of the vote usually needs to keep in the people's good graces, minus a few freebee errors.

Long after Obama has gone home to write his memoirs, Palin will still be on the American political stage. Learn to love her.

Would Alaska CPS please remove Willow from this woman's custody? She's running around on national TV insisting that a comedian was joking about raping her daughter. That is delusional and far more humiliating to Willow than anything a late night comic said about HER OLDER SISTER.

I've heard a lot of Republicans say during the election that Obama was getting a free ride from the media. What about Palin? She does absolutely nothing, has no ideas of her own and brings nothing to the table for the GOP yet is constantly in the media spotlight. Seriously, if she runs for the presidency and has to go through televised debates during the primaries, she'll be eaten alive! She's a Moron. Why do you think McCain's camp wouldn't let her talk to the media? Biden knocked her around with kid gloves on during the VP debate and most of the time, she never even answered the questions asked! She doesn't scare any democrats. She is pure entertainment value to see where the trainwreck is going to crash next. If she is on the top of the GOP ticket in 2012, say hello to 4 more years of Obama in a landslide.

"I'm not definitely going to do anything yet," said the former Republican vice presidential candidate ~ This woman is a COMPLETE moron!! I wish she would be "tight-lipped" about just everything – not only her political future. Her voice is so irritating, shrill and whiny. I sure am glad she didn't get elected. I cannot tolerate listening to her speak. Besides the fact her voice is so very annoying, whatever she says is totally incoherent. She never makes any sense. I always find myself asking, "what did she just say?".

Please run. It would make for great comedy hearing her brutalize the English language; and after getting trounced - maybe just maybe she'll get a clue and go away for good. Doubtful since she epitomizes megalomania...

Palin can't shut up about Letterman's joke, but she can't tell anyone about her political future. Man, this woman doesn't have her priorities straight.

I love how conservatives say liberals are "scared" of Palin. Well of course, anyone with half a BRAIN would be terrified of this woman. She can't even construct a proper sentence without sounding like a fool. Not to mention she doesn't read any newspapers. If she's so informed and intelligent, why doesn't she offer to be interviewed by OTHER media sources, besides Fox news. She's a disgrace to women....and this is coming from a woman!

It seems like Palin is far more interested in a job on the talk show circuit rather than governing Alaska.

I hope she becomes the GOP's standard bearer!!! She stands for all the values that the far-right stand for. Ignorance, hypocrisy, religious intolerance, xenophobia, does not believe in science, does not know the Constitution of the US.

She also represents the far-right in her personal experience. She does not read, she has never been to a foreign country, she does not understand science, she does not know US history, she knows even less about world history.

Her big qualification for the position as leader of the GOP???
You could see yourself having a beer with her after going on a turkey shoot. Yee haw!! Nuff said she got my vote!

For the record I am an independent voter. I voted for Reagan twice and then for Clinton twice. Unless the republican party can put forth a legitimate candidate I have no choice but to continue to vote Democratic. Sorry, but Sarah Palin is not a legitimate candidate for President of the United States I have nothing against her as a person. Or mom or Governor. She is simply not qualified to be the President. Period.

Palin's pathetic past performance probably precludes her being considered as a strong prez. material. We are particular peeved by her provocative remarks about a whole lot of issues. Romney, Pawlenty, and Ridge are the gentlemen we would like to see as potential prez. caandidates.
