Palin tight-lipped on political future

(CNN) - Sarah Palin told CNN's Wolf Blitzer Friday she's not ready to announce any decision on whether she will seek re-election as governor of Alaska in 2010 or seek the Republcian presidential nomination in 2012.

"I'm not definitely going to do anything yet," said the former Republican vice presidential candidate. "What I'm trying to get done for Alaska right now is to get that Alaska gas line built. We need those energy sources flowing through North America. That's what my focus is."

Pressed if she had made a decision privately about future plans, Palin said "No decision that I'd want to announce today."

In a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll released last week, Palin was effectively tied with former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee as the top pick by Republicans for the party's 2012 presidential nomination.

Robin–Conservatives are called hatemongers because you believe anyone who lives a life not perfectly in line with YOUR morals is wrong and conservatives go out of their way to hurt others, involve themselves in others life when it has absolutely no impact on them. Dont like Same Sex Marriage? MARRY SOMEONE OF YOUR SEX and mind your own business. Dont like abortion? DONT HAVE ONE and mind your own business. Oh wait–conservative? Dont like abortion? Gun down a doctor–as Christ intended.

i think the GOP will put her in the forefront to run in 2012. Why? Well because she's a woman and the GOP will try to appear more tolerant to women and minorities. Sigh, this psycho gives me a headache! I dont know how anyone in their RIGHT mind could approve of her. How many colleges did she attend to get her bachelors degree????? And not to bash a bachelors degree, but aren't presidents supposed to have at least a masters from an Ivy league school?

To those who are saying that Americans are sick of Obama and his policies and are ready for a conservative America and Palin, please check your stats. The vast majority of Americans support the current administration. They are not sitting around hoping and waiting for a conservative republican resurgence – quite the opposite. So for a conservative to post here that the country is fed up with Obama, thretruth is only a teeny weeny minority of you feel that way. I know you think your ideas are the same as everyones else's, but they aren't. Majority rules – that's the dems thse days and we're likin' it!.

Republicans still have not learned their lesson yet. They do nothing but complain and yet they continue to vote for incompetent people like Bush 43, McCain and hill-billy gueen Sarah Palin who doesn't seem to have master the English language by any stretch of the imagination. My 4 year old grandson makes Sarah Palin sound like a complete fool!! I pray this woman runs so she can get her behind whooped AGAIN!!

Sarah Palin is more qualified to be President then this idiot who is in the White House now. If she runs in 2012 she will win.

She is a IDIOT PERIOD! Why in the world would CNN or any other news outlet give this MORON the time of day? She is a nothing, a liar and a moron. American does not want a thin skinned wanna be as President. She does not have the temperment knowledge or the understanding to represent the United States. Please Ms "SHOOT THEM OUT OF A HELECOPTER" you and the rest of the hillbillys go back and eat a moose or something and tak Zigler with you1

She wasn't able to confirm if she is going to a fundraiser dinner or not. How could she know, considering her intellectual limitations, what she is going to do in 2 or 4 years? She can concentrate at only one thing at a time and right know she seems very much involved to fight a comedian.

IF THE MSM WOULD STOP SHE WOULDN'T THINK SHE HAS A POLITICAL FUTURE – her supporters don't number enough to make a story its the press that is pushing this. That's one reason I no longer watch CNN.

I would say that Palin far from from causing us "liberals" any type of angst, is instead a welcome respite from serious news. Based on the tone of most of the blogs I would say that anything Palin-related is viewed as innocous and irrelevant, to be taken with a a grain of salt and enjoyed like a secretely held chocolate addiction. Yep, innocous and irrelevant: that pretty much sums up Sarah. IMHO.

It's also "a sad commentary on what Americans are fed in terms" OF YOU...SARAH!

You are nothing but a distraction from the real issues that Americans care to hear about – you know it, the republitalibans know it, AND CNN knows it!

Because no one knows who the voice of the GOP is, as they are so out-of-touch and have no solutions to offer concerning issues Americans are facing, CNN has you to fall-back on...WOW, at least five stories going on here...

Getting to watch you make MORE of an embarrassment, than you already have now for almost a year, of yourself - Limbaugh, Cheney, Steele, and McCain must be laughing their asses off about now; getting to take a break from that "Gotcha Media"

I love the logic of some of the Sarah-o-philes posts!!

She was insulted by a comedien therefore she would make a good president??

There is a reason that educated people do not vote for the GOP and why the handful that do continue to pan this vacuous winker as they leave the party.

If only she would be tight-lipped about EVERYTHING! All this woman cares about is keeping her name in the headlines – and she'll do anything and everything to do that.

And to Robin who thinks Palin is a real person and a successful governor:

    – Real people don't resort to blaming others for their actions, whine all the time, sneer, incite hatred and intolerance, and use their religion as an excuse for all their bad behavior.

    – Successful governors actually stay in their state to govern, don't accept a housing allowance when they are living in their own homes, don't put their families on the State expense account, and know enough about our system of government that they can accurately describe the duties of the Vice President.

Please wake up from that dream state your in. Palin Lacks intelligence, common sense, articulation of the english language and clearly is not ready for the big time. She was used by the Mccain camp. Picked becauseof her looks, and the fact that she was a women. I refuse to beleive that they thought this women was competent.......then again were talking about the republiclan party. Some say the Dems are scare of her. NO.......we laugh at her and anyone who thinks she is a viable candidate.......you know that old saying.......BEAUTY IS ONLY SKIN DEEP.

What happened to the Republican "listening" tours?? There was such a big deal made of these yet they had one which attracted 50 people to a strip mall pizza joint.

Dutch"Bad Newz: Look at a map...the pipeline had to run through Canada...why would Canadians allow a pipeline to be built through their land with American workers.? In fact, why wouldn't the Canadians demand that any line built on their land only use Canadian resources and products?? Palin hasn't even applied to the Yukon and Canadian gov't yet...this whole deal is just a political ploy to give her "status".

Palin left a 20 million dollar debt to the small town of Wasilia after receiving millions in earmarks. I wonder how many of those citizens' children and grandchildren will be paying off that debt??

Here's a comparison I dare Palin supporters to do:

Palin's reaction to a bad joke by a comedian: Whining to the press (while at the same time blaming the media for everything).

President Obama's reaction to Palin insinuating he's a terrorist and encouraging attendees at her presidential campaign rallies to yell out they'd like to kill him: Restraint, grace and the ability to remain focused on what really matters to the American people, namely, facing our challenges and getting us out of the messes created by the Cheney/Bush Administration.

LIP: You tried to boycott the Oprah Show...how did that work.

Imagine how Palin would react to criticism from world leaders? Would she exaggerate and whine about their cruel treatment and demand an apology??

"Sarah Palin is more qualified to be President then this idiot who is in the White House now. If she runs in 2012 she will win."

You have no idea what you wish for!!! She is the living example of ignorance, incompetence and selfishness. It would take her less than 8 years to ruin this country. We will have bridges to nowhere all over the country and become an international disgrace.
