GOP source: Palin decided it was 'time to move on'
WASHINGTON (CNN) – Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin announced Friday she would not seek a second term and would soon step down as governor.
A Republican source close to her political team told CNN that it was a “calculation” she made that “it was time to move on.” The governor’s “book deal and other issues” was “causing a lot of friction up” in her home state, the source said, adding that he believes that she is “mapping out a path to 2012.”

Her sense of entitlement is what's scary. Stupid people with a sense of entitlement don't leave marks on history, they leave scars. Alaska is better off, now let's pray the Republican lemmings won't be as easily mislead as in the past.

Governor Palin made the smartest Political move for the Republican Party Ticket now and 2012 Presidential Election and to sell a book for $7 million, if she has to run against Obama, who I voted for, or against Hillary Clinton who I did not vote for, but Hillary Clinton has the one job now that qualifies a woman to be president of the United States and if the Republican Party was not so prejudice they would have talked Condalisa Rice into running in the Primary Election against Obama and Hillary because Rice's job put her in the category of women like Margaret Thatcher in the Argentina war and Golden Mier in the Olympic Terrorists attack! WAKE UP REPUBLICAN'S I DON'T LIKE THE SOCIALIST Democrats that followed President Bush's example of "Welfare for Corporate Fat Cats that ship American jobs overseas along with the Manufacturing equipment and our national Resources for CHEAP LABOR! If any Country other than the U.S.A. is importing more than they are exporting plus exporting American jobs, please let me know so I can visit them in the Mental Ward because if a Country's tax base relies on income taxes and you don't let the American workers earn income we are going to go broke with paper money not worth the paper it is printed on and HYPER Inflation to replace a Recession!
Is this a case of a Rat leaving a sinking ship, a dilettante following an erratic career path or quitting before delivering the pipeline she said she delivered (it's Trans-Canada Pipelines call) or a mom deciding a little late that her special needs child should might need some extra attention, or or other children might need he .... in any event, she will make the Democrats happy if she is the Republican Nominee for President in 2012. The democrats will be very supportive of her candidacy.
The character assassinations of Sarah Palin continue. CNN, ABC and MSNBC all have very low ratings on TV, so the question needs to be asked as to where these people come from. Anyone who does not see things from a liberal point of view are marked for the most vicious attacks imaginable. The attacks are not limited to Sarah Palin alone, but also to her family. If being liberal means spewing vicious, unfounded character assassinations against anyone who views the world from a conservative point of view rather than debate the issues rationally then I am happy not to be liberal. The attacks are getting more and more despicable, but liberals are seeing themselves as more and more progressive.

This country is getting scary – I am very much for helping the minority community get into the business community and the real world, but it is the "educated" community that I could see pulling another Mussolini or Ceucescu. The majority wants the new Mengele and Stalin technologies along with its sexual promiscuity and his/her ability to put the knife to anyone but him or her self. How nice! I am really frightened next election, because anything humane about the Republicans along with anything humane about the Democrats is going right out the door. A second Hitler anyone?

WoW! Whoever gets the job as GOP PR spokesperson needs a huge raise and a truck load of asprin Listen up GOP get some character and integrity, 2010 is coming and could be very painful if u don't change
