Michael Steele needs to do some studying or have someone prep him before commenting on any type of public stage.

He comes across as an arrogant, egotistical fool.

Why the rush to pass a healthcare bill?! The PATRIOT Act was RAMMED through Congress, under threat of torture by the White House, and that bill was designed to nullify the Constitution.

Remember the White House declaring they could basically do whatever they want in their GITMOs and Abu Ghraib's? Then remember the president telling congress, "you're either with us, or you're with the terrorists?". That was an open-faced threat to torture and illegal imprisonment for any who voted against the PATRIOT Act.

We can move this one through faster, our economic future depends on it. That being said, I really wish Republicans would engage, instead of fighting against, so that we can try to pinch out any scammy details of the plan.

GOP Speak Vs Plain English ... ready? Here we go:

GOP: Slow down = Plain English: Kill it because we hate the people and we want them to suffer.
GOP: Trim the cost = Plain English: increase profits, reduce coverage becuase we are all Fat-Cat Wall Streeters who hate the people and we want them to suffer.

    GOP = Evil doers

Why is this fool talking about health care? When asked a question he could not answer he stated he did not make policies? So what does Steele do other than bash President Obama?

Page 16 of the proposed healthcare bill, if you don’t have private insurance the day this bill kicks in, YOU WILL NEVER HAVE PRIVATE INSURANCE THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!!! No future private sector insurance will be allowed after January 1st of the following year after the passage of the bill. From the bill word for word “(A) IN GENERAL.—Except as provided in this paragraph, the individual health insurance issuer offering such coverage does not enroll any individual in such coverage if the effective date of coverage is on or after the first day of Y1.”… THE LIES HAVE GONE TOO FAR, THIS MAN MUST BE STOPPED!!! HE ALSO OPENLY STATED IN HIS INTERVIEW THIS WEEK THAT WE SHOULD PUT OUR ELDERLY INTO HOSPICE SOONER IN ORDER TO CUT BACK COSTS ON THE HEALTHCARE SYSTEM! DO YOU SEE WHATS COMING NOW, THIS MAN IS SICK IN THE HEAD AND MUST BE STOPPED!!! THE CBO ALSO CAME OUT AND SAID THIS WILL RAISE HEALTH CARE COSTS NOT CUT THEM, PLEASE CALL YOUR REPS AND HAVE THEM VOTE NO!!!

Based on statements made by Je Demint to a Repuglican gathering, The republicans DON'T CARE about the needs of The American People! If they did, they would be trying to get us universal healthcare too!
Right now, the primary concern of the GOP is defeating President Obama. They believe if they prevent us from obtaining universal healthcare, this will be an ultimate defeat of Barack Obama. Every step they are taking in attempt stall, delay, derail Universal healthcare is an attempt to defeat Obama, not helping The People.
We have got to do something to stop the repuglicans and help The People

Obama's ad hominum (look it up, Democrats) attacks on Republicans about Obama-Care just prove their point. If Obama had facts to support his case, he would recite them.

The first rule of Chicago politics: When you have no facts to support your position, call your opponents names. If you need more proof that this is now the operative mentality of the Democratic Party, I refer you to the other comments on this blog.

Steele is just a "token" for the republican party.
He knows nothing about healthcare except his own.
All that vote against Obama's healthcare should have to give up their own!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whats up with Steele, talking about triming th cost of health care. Why didn't the GOP trim it when they was in. Steel, and McConnell is out to get Pres. Obama. They do not want Obama to help the poor people. They need to get rid of McConnell. He has never helped the poor people here in Kentucky. The Rich yes.

There's your GOP health care idea. "Let's wait. Why rush. We never get invited to sit and talk. Wah wah wah!".

How about you and your folk get a pair and stop whining and crying and talk to the Dems.

My God, we've been waiting for health care reform for over 50 years and it always gets shot down.
