I think Elizabeth is not a senior correspondent but a senior propoganda minister for the Obama Administration. CNN can do better reporting with a little objectivity and less personal agenda. Michael Steele was right on as usual.

Funny, CNN posts an article title, "Obama questions motives of health care critics...." Well, perhaps, like his citizenship, his motives should be questioned. After all, critics motives seem straightforward; keeping quality care for those who actually work, reducing government involvement...reducing government control...OBama's just a moron on a power trip and the sooner this country realizes it and impeaches him, the better. He's absolutely so far out of touch, he makes George Bush look cool!

Watch out with this health care system coming I'm sure the only people that are going to make a buck from it is your Congressmen, Senators, and Obama.

Don't trust them their selling you a JUNKER.

    @Lost in Texas FOREVER –

I think you got it wrong; Steele's from the party of NO....no to Obama screwing things up to the point our grandchildren will pay....the democrats are the party of D'oh...where they sum of the intellect is below Homer Simpson's...

Over half of the American public is against Obamacare but the liberal bloggers here will certainly trash any resistance coming from the GOP. 20 per cent of the uninsured consist if illegal aliens that Obama wants taxpayers to pay for. If this bill is passed in Congress, the Democrats responsible will be voted out of office in the next 2 elections!

Having not seen the final legislation, Steele seems to know a lot of what is going to happen in the future. Typical scare tactics, doom and gloom.

Perhaps with this great gift of prophecy Steele should quit as RNC Chaiman and start playing the lottery.

Elizabeth Cohen is a bimbo trying to make her talking points!! Not a fan of Michael Steele, but he makes some very good points that people should listen to. Too bad most on this board are too brain dead to look at this with an open mind. Afraid you might learn something they didn't "teach" you in college?

OBviously you only view or drool over obamasites...the GOP has made countless attempts to rectify the ignorance of Obamacare....it's just the liberal media and corrupt politicians like Pelosi, Waxman and Dodd that keep smothering the right solutions.....all for the sake of winning future votes...they could care less about the American people.

Steele was reading from a text and said"experiment" like a thousand times. This moron ain't got no clue about healthcare, reflexively opposes whatever BHO says or does, and utters utterly idiotic statements like an imbecile.

Wow, CNN. We can comment on Steele's position, but not Obama's comments criticizing anyone who disagrees with him.

Open letter to the Congress – show the people that you can fix and maintain Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. Then we might believe a national health plan won't bankrupt the country anymore than we are now.
And NO NEW TAXES to pay for a health plan most of us don't want anyway!!

Obama' s plan doesn't suck because unlike the GOP, he has a plan. And Yes I voted for him. We can't say the GOP plan sucks because as usual, they DON'T have plan! I would rather a plan than no plan as the majority of Americans want. You might want to start reading more books or utilize the internet man

    @ PAULA –

You're absolutely right. Obama's campaign banked on the laziness and stupidity of liberals who, amongst other things, are incredibly selfish as well. Obama has brainwashed the masses into thinking that making a profit is a dirty thing (except when he does on his books)..and thereby he's creating a country of mediocrity...a country that can willingly be led around like sheep. That's his plan; power and control. The sooner you libs realize he's a disaster, the sooner you'll pick up the phone and call your representatives and demand they vote against OBamacare. We need change, but we don't need this disaster. Obama gets you libs all worked up, like the world's going to end tomorrow...panics you, and then consoles you by promising you things you just don't understand..but they sound good! The only thing we need to reform is voting; obviously, it's far worse than healthcare or the economy with this idiot in office!

Ever notice how if it's an opportunity to bash Republicans (particularly Palin) items stay open for hours, but if it's negative about Obama it closes in minutes (e.g. the item on health care open about 35 min.)

I hope people understand how important it is to have our health care reformed. I use to work at an insurance company and trust me the insurnace company is only looking at how to increase profits and do not care about people. While at the insurance company I worked with people whose job it was to go through medical records to look for pre-existing conditions so the insurance company could deny claims to make profits. Trust me we need a public option plan so insurance companies can not deny claims based on pre-existing condition. People need to stop listening to rich people who try and scare you about health insurance. If you don't believe me about your health policy then call a health insurance advocate and have them explain your policy. Then tell me if you could be one major illness away from bankruptcy.

We didn't listen to Carter, so we are dependent upon foreign oil, we didn't listen to Hillarycare, so we are at the mercy of insurance companies....

....lets follow the trend of big business talk and not listen to Obama...

What was that old saying, "insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results"

Thanks baby boomers, you ruined the unions, you ruined the ability to have a single income family, you ruined our healthcare system, you even bought into the idea that "God is on our side (for Christianity invented in the 18th century by fiery preschers)."

Yeah, let's hurry and quadruple the debt! That'll solve everything as we all know! The government, espeically liberal democrats have solved so many problems! So, let's take the most radical, inexperienced individual and let him make decisions for us because we can't think! We haven't been struggling over healthcare for 50 years, that's a blatant lie. Perhaps get a job and stop siphoning off of Uncle Sugar....that's the major problem here and with the OBama election; everyone wants someone else to solve their problems for them! That's the reason OBama's in control, is helpless mindsets like yours that are willing to cough up your very existence to a bunch of corrupt democrats!
