All I'll say is that everyone in the program who is NOT RETIRED, should pay their fair share. Get out and work, earn your way, you can't get a free ride all of your life.

Obama answers no direct questions! He is President BLA-BLA-BLA.
It is about his talking points not the ?'s the reporters ask. He is dodging the ? of rationing of care for Medicare recipiants.

How the rich always have to be taxed. I believe that is unethical, to target one group specifically when it comes to funding new legislation. I always thought in America that the sky was the limit and that this was the greatest nation on earth because its the only one where your dreams can be made true. Looks like those days are going down the drain under this administation. Just making it seem bad to be wealthy nowadays. This isn't the america I knew 10 years ago

Insurance companies are getting filthy rich while they continue to up premiums. Some of these insurance companies ship American jobs overseas(UNITED HEALTHCARE).

Here is how to get more bang for the buck:
    1. Become a smoke free nation: primary and second hand smoke exposure are responsible for billions of health care dollar expenditures annually. Even president Obama has stated he has struggled with addiction. Why not pass legislation the prevents the minting of new nicotine addicts daily in this country and immediately starts working in the first month to dramatically reduce health costs? it's free and it works. IIn a south central Ky county, the smoking prevalence is 1 in 2.6 citizens. This is not acceptable.
    2. Congestive heart failure is this country's most expensive DRG. Until we get at the root cause: i.e. untimely heart attack care due to long transport times and failure to recognize heart attack and deliver good care, we will never impact it. Mandate mapping of our country to plot the shortest route for every single heart attack patient to obtain a PCI. Do this by allowing, even encouraging PCI without surgery on site as our European friends have been doing for two decades. Lower complication rates for more timely care.
    3. Pay for disease "prevention" by using the monies saved by implementing both of the above entities.
It will work. Just do it!

If this legislation goes through there won't be any bucks left to bang.

He says that his health care reform is essential to economic recovery. Of course, it was also essential that we pass the stimulus bill to keep unemployment below 8.5%. Another brilliant idea from His Royal Arrogance. His fuse is getting short as some dare to stand up to him and he anticipates the possibility that he won't get his way. His poll numbers are falling and his true fascist colors are beginning to show from under his slick exterior. If his bullying tactics fail we may actually get to see Obama have a tantrum.

What a crock of bull.....he doesn't even know what is in the bill yet....he just wants these non medical democratic representatives to cram it through. By the way his numbers of 45 million that are uninsured...20 million include illegal aliens.....won't that be an incentive for more illegals crossing our borders. I say no to Obama.....he needs to slow down and work on the economy...because his solutions of pork bills so far are a failure.... now these same morons think in less than a month can handle this....I don't think so....they are too stupid.

He is just going to cram his socialist agendas through....I am sick of him. I want these morons to read the final bill and I want it posted on the internet so that Americans can read it too...Enough of this rhetoric.

I'm retired living on a pension and my 401K savings and even though I saved 20% the last 18 years at work, health care costs are rising so fast that I'm not sure how we'll afford it later in life.

The President is rightly concerned with the biggest runaway costs in our society and it's high time that we as a country fix this problem.

There is no reason why doctors can't go on a salary and work for a system of non-profit medical facilities. All of the scare tactics are designed to keep a system of insurers and medical providers making exorbitant salaries while the rest of us work all our lives and end up broke or in debt because of run-away medical costs.

I fully support the President and I hope that all "thinking" Americans see through the opposition propaganda.

Every single time Mr. Obama gets on television he breeds more discontent. You would think that at some point he would learn this fact. He is over-exposed through the very media he is using in an attempt to manipulate Americans. The health care madness he is promoting *is* about him; it is *all* about him. Mr.Obama is the reason this nation's economy is going downhill. Mr.Obama is the reason that the unemployment rate is going through the roof. This administration is running America straight into the ground. The longer people wait to kick him and this administration out of Washington, the more damage he does.

Nice concept. Too bad nothing in this plan lowers health care costs. Don't take my word...that's why we have the Congressional Budget Office and that's their conclusion. Don't be fooled again!

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice ( or 3X ) and I'd be stupid. Think General Motors, Stimulus ( jobs, jobs, jobs...) and we're looking at number 3 here. I don't think so.

The "stars may be aligned in his fantasy land" but not here in the good old USA! We say no to his healthcare plan. He is an empty suit and he is now showing his true colors. What a shame of a President.

There he goes again. "We were near a complete collapse." So things are fixed now? You mean I can bank on getting my job back, my house back, and the retirement I lost during the crash? Whoo Hoo!

I am so tired of hearing him blame others for problems that he has a huge hand in creating – and equally sick of him taking credit for victories that have never occurred. The Emperor has NO CLOTHES!

Sorry, someone has to pay for you. OB and Dams will spend more of your bucks (our generation and generations' debts) for their bangs (Obama's socialistic health cares, caps and trades, and socialized banks and motors). Slow down, Mr. President and Dam ladys and gentlemen! You have already spent more than one trillions of taxpayers' money more than you have made in a short 6 months! Shame on you!

Heath care is NOT in crisis. The system does NOT need a complete overhaul. It does NOT make sense to take away health care that is working and replace it with an untested untried experiment. The adminisration and congress seem more interested in running health care and NOT providing quality health care. When the rationing starts, who will be the first to go to the back of the line? At what age will we be considered too old to receive treatment?
I hear a lot of me...I...and still the "previous" administration. This guy will soon take credit for the sun coming up.

Obama and his telemarketing is just one more sales call on the nation during dinnertime. My advice to Obama – get a job and leave us alone.

    Wake up America!
Obama's press conference tonight was a classic depiction of a slippery snakeoil salesman. No specifics, only his elegant bloviating about how wonderful his plan will be. His mission is only to suppoert his socialistic agenda, more Government control, shifting wealth and higher taxes for all. Simply put and according to the CBO, this plan is certain to increase cost and compromise patient care! This guy is an embarrasment. Problem is, way too many koolaide drinkers and freeloaders continue to support him.
