North Korea: Clinton 'funny lady, by no means intelligent'

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/WORLD/asiapcf/07/23/us.north.korea/art.clinton.afp.gi.jpg caption=" Hillary Clinton says North Korea's refusal to discuss nuclear program could provoke arms race."]BANGKOK, Thailand (CNN) - North Korea launched a scathing personal attack on U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Thursday after she likened the leadership in Pyongyang to "small children and unruly teenagers and people who are demanding attention."

At a meeting of southeast Asian nations in Phuket, Thailand, a North Korean Foreign Ministry spokesman blasted Clinton for what he called a "spate of vulgar remarks unbecoming for her position everywhere she went since she was sworn in," according to the state-run KCNA news agency.

The spokesman called Clinton "by no means intelligent" and a "funny lady."

"Sometimes she looks like a primary schoolgirl and sometimes a pensioner going shopping," the statement said.

The official of the North Korean govt is indeed childlike since his reaction is a petty one in response to bad (yet well-deserved) criticism.

I would have to agree with the North Koreans on this one. Plus she has no business in that position.

Although I believe that Obama's selection for Secretary of State ( okay...his second choice 🙂 ), was done for all of the wrong reasons, it is outrageous to see this kind of disrespect for an American cabinet level position by another country. I mean, they are talking about a former first lady here! She's a lawyer too! And I'm sure she has plenty of other qualifications I just can't think of them right now!

    I miss Connie.

Hillary Clinton is one of the most intelligent women around......smart enough to not care about statements made by a North Korean who is acting like a second grader.

Oh, great job CNN! You once again show why you people are ignorant idiots who can't cover the news objectively. Next time, grow up and stop acting like you're in the 6th grade. Please bring back Ted Turner to help restore your network to some level of respectability.

North Korea......Secretary of State Clinton is not dumb and is by no means just a funny lady. What a stupid fool the Foreign Ministry is for making the comments. Male pigs!

I looks like the North Koreans are acting like little children again. How funny! The best thing they could do at this point is keep quite, pout and skulk back to their rooms.

North Korea is the temper tantrum orphan that no one in the world will adopt. Lets hope as part of one of their temper tantrums they don't lob a nuclear missile in someone's direction.

Hillary Clinton does not strike me as a woman who will have her feelings hurt over ignorant statements made by a chauvanistic, egotistical North Korean dictator's talking head. The statements made by him indicate to me that Secretary Clinton is doing her job and doing it well.

Well the North Koreans got two out of three correct, but they forgot to add that she is a windbag who is about as threatening as a housefly. This administration is a complete joke.

It is still more dignified than all the mud Obamaniacs STILL sling at her. Ironic that all of that mud is the same old tired talking points republican pundits invented about her in the 90s that even republicans themselves no longer use.

Mrs. Clinton is far from a "funny lady" and she doesn't look anything like a "pensioner going shopping." What she appears to be is a former political force in America who has been "neutralized" by the Obama administration. They have saved face by "including her in the team." At the same time, they have made it impossible for her to speak against the administration or position herself for another run for President since she is "a team player." As she becomes increasingly irrelevant (to the great delight of Mr. Obama and all who want a weaker America) these statements will be more forthcoming. She put herself in this position by accepting it. I feel sorry for her, and for this administration and our country.

Right on! N. Korea needs to know their place in the world. Their tryrannical temper tantrums should not be tolerated by this country or any other country. They are children, spoiled and vengeful. They are just mad that they do not have what the rest of the world has and it is their own fault. They have been given MANY opportunities in life, ian independent economy that is self sufficent, self-respect in the world, and a worthiness within themselves. They feel sorry for themselves and it is everyone else's fault but theirs.
They blame the rest of the world for their problems, except they put this upon themselves. GO HILLARY!!! Tell it like it is.
