North Korea: Clinton 'funny lady, by no means intelligent'

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/WORLD/asiapcf/07/23/us.north.korea/art.clinton.afp.gi.jpg caption=" Hillary Clinton says North Korea's refusal to discuss nuclear program could provoke arms race."]BANGKOK, Thailand (CNN) - North Korea launched a scathing personal attack on U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Thursday after she likened the leadership in Pyongyang to "small children and unruly teenagers and people who are demanding attention."

At a meeting of southeast Asian nations in Phuket, Thailand, a North Korean Foreign Ministry spokesman blasted Clinton for what he called a "spate of vulgar remarks unbecoming for her position everywhere she went since she was sworn in," according to the state-run KCNA news agency.

The spokesman called Clinton "by no means intelligent" and a "funny lady."

"Sometimes she looks like a primary schoolgirl and sometimes a pensioner going shopping," the statement said.

HA! I have to laugh at the fact that she compared them to children and teenagers, they got offended, and said all those things about her...she was right! They really do act like teenagers and children. I would say that's probably a bad decision on their part to mess with Hillary...

Pretty funny coming from a country whose leadership has acted like nothing more than a bunch of spoiled brats for the past several years. If they want anyone to treat them with respect they should start behaving as if they deserved it.

Good job Hillary. You took diplomacy right back to second grade. If North Korea pulls your hair, you better threaten them and tell them that your daddy is stronger than theirs! That'll get 'em!

I hope this teaches a lesson to everyone. Name-calling is a stupid way to deal with an issue. I am surprised that two nations, who are technically still at war have resorted to these kinds of actions. It does not fix the situation, it does not stop the situation, nor does it open a path to a solution. Despite being a supporter of Hillary, I do believe that she got what she deserved in this one.

    N. Korea is right about one thing: Sometimes.....Hillary does look like a pensioner gone shopping.

She's gaining weight-those pant suits in their vivid colors have got to go--and Bill needs to take her to hair salon. Soon. Like tomorrow.

I think this foreign ministry spokesman's callow remarks only served to prove Hillary Clinton's case.

I liken it to responding to a legitimate complaint with the retort "yeah well you're ugly!"

Hillary good job! But I want to know why the comments for the things Obama said about the police is closed?

We are to treat everyonr with respect, even when they are checking on us. If your upset that the police came to see if your house is being robbed and you think you can talk to them Like some out of control teen ager( thats for hillery) for not knowing this is your home, and you verbaly attact them. You will go to jail! Oh I'm sorry that what you do for a liveing does not make you any better then me or any others in the states. We act like that I know I'm going to jail and they will sort out things after I calm down. Sorry Hillery just got home from work and had to say that.

I thought we owned North Korea with the Team America movie pretty well so if they want to take a jab or two at us who cares.

The strange leader of North Korea is the last person who should be making fun of Hillary Clinton or anyone for the way they look. He with his "forties" leisure suits and "Stooge" hair cut., This is a person to take seriously, however as to actions, because he is disturbingly dangerous and is one we don't want to take our eyes off of for a minute.

It grows more clear after strange outburst from the rogue N. Korean
government that they are clearly on a collision course with not only
the US, but the entire civilized world.

I frankly do not know how we can throttle this rogue power short of some
demonstration of force....however this action would be fraught with
    grave possible results.

The Chinese would be the best source for a show of force to try and
get these rogues back in the "real" world.

But how might we arrange this?

I'm sure that the Chinese are more than a bit uneasy with the
current state of affairs....perhaps this might be channeled?

The nation watches as things unfold.

"Clinton Gets Made Fun Of Abroad" That's really the headline you chose for this? A headline that implies that the Secretary of State is being laughed at around the world? How about something closer to the truth? "North Korea Responds to Clinton's Remarks"? Or maybe, "North Korea's Response to Sec. Clinton Proves Her Point"?
