Clinton: Obama has proven his toughness, international savvy

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/07/26/art.hrcbo0726.gi.jpg caption="I think his performance in office has been incredible, Secretary of State Clinton said of President Obama."]
WASHINGTON (CNN) - Hillary Clinton is convinced.

After questioning Barack Obama's international savvy and toughness while campaigning against him last year, the secretary of state said Sunday she has seen plenty of both from the president so far.

"Those were appropriate issues to raise in the campaign," Clinton said Sunday on the NBC program "Meet the Press." She went on to declare: "I'm here to say that I think his performance in office has been incredible."

Asked specifically about her campaign criticisms, Clinton said, "I don't feel them at all" anymore.

She also said she has "moved on" from her loss to Obama in a hard-fought Democratic primary contest.

Last week in Asia, Clinton responded to a question about her presidential ambitions by saying she wasn't thinking about it now.

"I have absolutely no belief in my mind that is going to happen," she said Sunday of another possible presidential campaign. Clinton also acknowledged that the challenges facing a woman running for president are "daunting."

Don't give up, Hillary! There are millions of us who are waiting to vote for you in 2016. We love Obama, but you were always our first choice.

Nan, will you get over it? You and the other Obama haters. Clinton did not have the most votes. Obama is President. Deal with it.

Hillary is just biding her time...

About mid way through Obama's term, when it starts becoming obvious that his policies aren't working (no universal healthcare, continued recession, 10%+ unemployent, rising death count in Afghanistan, etc.) she'll start to change her tune...

Palin will be a superior politician than BO on world affairs for she will put every world leader in their place, especially China. We should not pay China back, they should be giving us money for us to eliminate our deficits. We own China and Palin will grab Hu Jingtao and Wen Jiabao where it hurts the most. Hu and Wen are puppets controlled by President Sarah Palin.

The trouble with Mr Obama is that he enjoys being a manipulator. I am one of the 18 million who wanted Hillary to win...only to be disappointed with the backroom, political ramrodding that came to pass with the Obama election to the presidency. There's hope yet, I believe, that Hillary will make a great president!

I think she's telling herself he's spectacular because she wants to keep her job....

My guess is that Hillary will become that one heartbeat away from the Presidency if Obamma wins a second term. He'll get rid of "Loose Lips" Biden and select her as his running mate.

I think Hillary had a better view of him during the campaign, if she wants to keep her job she said what she HAD to say. Obama has told the American people too many lies and then covers them up with his standard statement "we miscalculated". It only took him six months to create the largest Government in the history of this country.
Wait until we all see exactly what is in this Health Care reform Bill, it is not what he said, we will have the same coverage as the Senate and the House, we all know now that was a bold faced lie.

The ones criticizing the SOS Hillary Clinton, move on, she has. Hillary Clinton cares more about the United States of America, to put aside her feelings.

Some of you are so miserable on here, that you can't stand people getting along for the USA.

I was never a big fan of Hillary before, but she is doing an outstanding job. I also think Obama is doing an outstanding job. We have come to expect the quick fixes in this country. But, there is no easy way out of two wars and bad economic times. Obama has been President for 6 months. So far he's done all that could be expected. If you think otherwise then you are just being hypocritical because had McCain been elected (shudder) the economy wouldn't be any better. In fact, it would probably be worse and we'd be fighting in Iran and heavens knows where else right now.

Everyday that passes with her in this disasterous administration lessens her viability as a presidential contender. She retreats from Norht Korea, retreats from Iran, takes the absolute wrong side in Korea and supports a massive expansion of state power over US citizens rights.

I cannot see how she has any credibility left as a presidential candidate.

Being associated with Obama's failing foreign policy of appeasement is hardly something that will keep Hillary in the forefront of future Presidential contenders. Worse than that its clear she's pretty much been sidelined. Obama wants to run his own foreign policy from the White House, and he's not interested in Hillary's input. She'll share the blame in the probable failure, and will be kept in the closet if there are any successes. Unless of course she has some plan that will surprise us all. Its not wise to count Hillary out, but right now she looks like toast!

President Obama's only good decision in the past 6 months was to hire Mrs. Clinton as Secretary of State. I am so happy I do not have to hear her "Schrill" voice & see her face every day on the evening news.

How can Pres. Obama able to Apologize to all of the Terrorists in the world but he can't take a minute & the decency to apologize for his racist comments last week to a heard working Policeman.

Shame on you President Obama. Your recovery plan is a Failure & a Ponzi scheme.

I would have voted for Hillary until she said that she thinks Obama's performance has been incredible. Unless she means incredibly awful.
