He'd better. Those idiot Blue Dogs are threatening our future and need to be reigned in. We didn't vote a Republican into office for a good reason!

Good maybe he can put some senses into them. How can the majority party be browing down to the minority party. That's the problem with Democrats, we just can't hold on to power. I don't understand why they just can't pass the program that should be passed as opposed to allowing the Repugs to influence this health care reform at all. The American people want better health care, and we want public option, the VA is one of the best Gov run health program in the country/world. The Gov does know how to run a health care program and it does need more regulation. The airline industry is heavily regulated but yet it is able to have a high level of competition from the private sector. The Dem just needs to remember all this. Medicare is run wll and many seniors will kill you if you take it away from them, yet they are touting that they don't want universal health care? How can our corp expect to compete with the rest fo the world when other countries have universal health care and we don't. GET IT DONE, AND GET IT DONE THE CORRECT WAY.

President Obama needs to let the Senate Democrats know how importance this health care plan and need it to pass with or without republican help.

I'm sure the lunch is an intimidation meeting. There will be lots of arms being put behind their backs and I can almost hear Obama say "who cares what the people want! Vote for this Health Care bill!!!"...just like the cap and trade and the other stuff I want!!

Apparently Obamacare's warm welcome in Philidelphia is raising some eye brows today at the WH..., too bad they just don't get the true ideals of free choice.

Americans are all ready against everything Hussein and the Obamatrons are trying to do. To attend this meeting is treason and should be dealt with by firing squad.

    We want:

    1. No new taxes
    2. No public health insurance
    3. No more free "give away" programs
    4. No more "stimulus" spending (a.k.a. pork)
    5. Healthcare reform? Do malpractice reform, train more doctors and shorten the patent life on drugs.
    6. Energy reform? Drill more oil, more solar, expand nuke plants, more windmills.
    7. Social Security Reform? raise the retirement age to 75
    8. Welfare Reform? No one should get a check without working! 40 hours of paid or volunteer work in order to participate in any government assistance.
    9. Tax reform? More from the rich but also the poorest 50% should pay some federal taxes (maybe 5%).

Mr. President, don't just give them a free lunch. Get them to pass the health care bill. We deserve a health care insurance just like the one Congress has, period.

I wonder if any of the Dem leadership will have bothered to update themselves on the reportcard that CNN has had up for the last few days. Congress is a resounding Failure !

I believe President Obama will succeed in passing the Health Care Reform Bill, because his approach to the problem is promising and flexible. He asked Congress to send him a bill that he will sign, instead of throwing a bill of 1300 pages for Congress to pass. Obama wants to hear from Congress and Americans what they need. I just hope he and Speaker Pelosi can stick with their original idea of offering a public plan in the exchange, because without a public plan, this health care reform is useless and no change is made at all.

What about meeting with Republicans. I voted Obama but now I am beginning to wonder if he is really bringing change or not. I see no democrats reaching out to the Republicans. I am getting more and more disappointed.

The President need to tell the Democrat to get ahead of all the scare tactics that the GOp\P is putting out thier. I do not like the OGP but they know how to cry fire in a crowded room and scare everyone to death.

Also I am tired of trying to be bipartisan. Quit putting you hand out there to get chopped of by the sore conservative losers.

Real America stand up and stop letting the birther movement / sore loser / scare monger / crazy left wing / just say no with no alternatives GOP create choas.
