The address - usually delivered by a Republican member of Congress or sitting governor - will cap off a week that has thrust the Virginia race in the national spotlight. On Thursday, President Obama will make his first campaign appearance with Democratic candidate Creigh Deeds in the northern Virginia suburb of Tyson's Corner.
McDonnell has also campaigned and raised money with a bevy of national figures, including Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee and RNC chairman Michael Steele.
The race, considered the marquee political battle of 2009, is being fought over a number of national issues, particularly as McDonnell tries to link Deeds to the administration's contentious economic agenda.
Who cares.
It doesn't matter who delivered the message. If it doesn't have a solution it's all bogus which equals NO.
Which means he will end up losing his bid for governor because he wants to play partisan
Who cares what Republicans say! They lie, and lie, and lie and lie. If he wants to apologize for the spend and barrow years of Bush where lucrative government contacts were given away to Republican cronies, then it mght be worth listening to And aologizing abot the shameful lynch mob tacts approved and sponcered by the GOP to disrupt the natioal debates it would be wrth listening to as well – beyond that, play cartoons.
