WASHINGTON (CNN) - Two links (Miller's ActBlue listing and fundraising page) allowing people to donate to Rep. Congressman Joe Wilson's opponent Rob Miller went viral last night on e-mail, Twitter and Facebook, raising approximately $100,000, according to the liberal group pushing for the contributions.
The links came from online fundraising site ActBlue, and the first donation via the links came in at 9:30 p.m. ET last night. ActBlue's two links were clicked on over 3,000 times. The overwhelming majority of those clicks came in from people e-mailing the links, followed by a people sharing the link on Twitter. A smaller number of donors put the link on Facebook.
ActBlue Deputy Communications Director Adrian Arroyo told CNN that the donations have come in from over 5,000 individuals.
another waste of money ......
Maybe if Wilson stays.....he will say more and then more donations for
Keep wasting your money, lefties. Each dollar that goes there is a dollar that doesnt go elsewhere.
Hilton Head (wealthy SC executives of Ins. Co. live there) is a tuff market for an HONEST politician.
Best wishes to you Mr Miller. I hope you help remove the scum from our sight.
oh please... the way some of those left wing nut jobs trash bush and chaney and there not even in office,,, the way the left wing wing media and there love affair with obama. goes on and on .to much drama here for " he lied "...cant wait till the next election.....not,,
How much of the money came from the distric?? How much did Wilson raise because of this?
I would think that a shoutout to dailyKos would be appropriate, since one of your links is titled "Kossacks for Democrat Rob MIller."
Yes, sounds like Move On. org used another deceptive move to manipulate the numbers, good old liberals. I will bet Mr. Wilson gets a lot more support for his bravery in calling a spade a spade!
The people of South Carolina should hang their head in shame to be represented by Mr. Wilson. If they reelect him I propose we allow South Carolina secede.
what a crock–as if people suddenly decide Wilson is a cad for telling the truth and calling Obama on his lies. sounds like knee-jerk political posturing from CNN and its Dems.
Boy CNN your sure touting this guy aren't you?
It is important to note that on Slatecard.com, Joe Wilson has raised $70 as well. (c:
