WASHINGTON (CNN) - President Obama's political team has raised more than a million dollars in the hours since his congressional address, the Democratic National Committee reported Thursday.
Since the president's Wednesday night speech, more than 381,000 people have signed Organizing for America's online letter in support of his health care plan. The DNC also said that $1,087,000 has been donated in that time, even though OFA has yet to send out a dedicated fundraising e-mail.
Time to contribute immediately to the Republican National Committee. Proud to do it!
How many came in from credit cards and are under the reporting limit ?
I'll donate even more....
I bet Ronald Reagan is looking down and wondering what happened to his party. He was a good politician. I did not always agree, but he treated people with the respect they deserved.
This Rep. Wilson was supposed to be a military guy. Wow. He broke protocol BIG TIME.
Excellent speech given to Congress by President Obama!!!!!!!
The Health-care plan seems to be OK and seems to reflect the realties of the current US political situation.
However, despite what Republicans (who are freaked out about the Socialist bogeyman - God forbid) the only real way to set-up a quality system is from scratch and to go to a single payer NOT-FOR- PROFIT Healthcare system, just like those in Canada UK, France Germany, Sweden etc. etc.
OBAMA knows this but cannot openly admit it!!! Senator McCarthy would simply roll over in his grave and Rush L. would probably die of a massive stroke while on the Air.
Is just me or the do the republicans keep bringing up the same old phrases such as Acorn, Kool-aid etc? These are the same phrases they used in the election to attempt to turn the marjority of Americans against President Obama. It did not work then and it won't work now. As long as the Republicans keep using worn out themes, showing they have no class and deriding anyone who supported our President, then they will continue to marginalize themselves with common sense Americans and lose elections.
