Candy, let's CALL it like it truly is. This is pure racism. This would have never happened to a WHITE President, Republican or Democrat!!! ENOUGH with the BOGUS rationalizations, petty justifications and lame EXCUSES. Mainstream America continue to cover up this underlying problem in our country. Americans say one thing, but they always behave differently.

Everyone continues to HIDE behind the REALITY. Majority of WHITE RING WHITES hate President Obama solely because of the color of his skin. Congressman Joe Wilson has a HISTORY of racists intent.

When someone says ONE thing, but his/her actions SPEAK a totally different story you have to truly wonder about their true motives. A lot of WHITE hide behind their TRUE racists mentality in public, but behind closed doors or amongst friends and family, they promote and encourage HATRED and RACISTS behavior.

I don't think anyone is saying ALL of the criticism is racially motivated, but some is. Those carrying signs depicting President Obama as a witchdoctor and some others definitely are racist, although I think they may not recognize that within themselves and honestly see nothing wrong with it. Most racial hatred seems to be redirected toward recent immigants, but old biases still persist, particularly with older people. We still have a long way to go.

  3. Thinking Straight

There are some expected criticism given the ideological bent of the Republicans, however there are some fringe groups that are clearly racist. These fringe elements have found good cover with the GOPs from the Reagan era and the hijacking of the party by the evangelical right. Some of the rhetoric is hateful and reprehensible and should be repudiate by the GOp leadership.

As an African American female. I think we need to continue strides on education. This country doesn't have the time or the luxury to indulge in this ignorance on either side, black or white. This waste of energy and time is the very reason why Bosnia and other countries are steadily closing the gap in education and overall civility. Remember this country was war torn just about 20 years ago.

Right now this ignorance is pooring out from the side of my white countrymen. What I'm afraid is going to happen is that there will be some black people and others who will not tolerate this blatant disrespect and will issue out some levels of ignorance of their very own. AGAIN AS A COUNTRY WE DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS. WE HAVE AN EDUCATION SYSTEM IN THE TOILET. A HEALTHCARE SYSTEM THAT IS THE EPITOME OF UNEQUALITY (I am health care provider). AND I WON'T EVEN GET INTO THE CRACK (black) AND METH (white) EPIDEMIC. We got plenty of things on our plate to focus on beside that color of a leaders skin. This doesn't say much about us a society!

So with the logic the liberals are applying to anyone who disagrees with Obama, Serena Williams' outburst toward the Korean line judge at the US Open was completely racially motivated. Serena must be a racist. After all, there is a history here. African Americans targeted Koreans and Korean stores during the LA Rodney King riots, right?

My logic here is just as stupid as the lefts. Whether black, white, brown, yellow or red his policies are just plain wrong and the polls indicate that most Americans are against his health plan. He was deceptive in his speech before congress and his numbers just don't add up (so says the Congressional Budget Office). Wilson called him out and was right.

Its only racism to the democrat when you don’t agree with them and the media just loves throwing gasoline on that fire.

This has gotten out of control. The liberals think that by charging GOP and critics of racism, that the electorate will suddenly be on their side. Playing the race card so often is only going to make legitimate cases of racism seem trivial. This is a dangerous road the liberals are traveling. It is a good way to breed racism where it does not exist and make people bitter and suspicious of their fellow man.

Oh, and BTW. You CAN criticize someone without being a racist.

Of course President’s race is a big factor here. And the reason the White House doesn’t want to admit to it is because it’s politically incorrect. Plus what can you do with a handful of white supremacy. We proved to our President that there is still hope for humans. These people are in minority and that’s what it matters.

    Capital Racism.

Its his skin color stupid, no ifs, buts or may'bes, its too much of a personal attack, and to think otherwise, its lying to yourself.

Lets call a spade a spade and stop beating around the bush to dope head, drug shopping ignorants like Rush.

Denial, Denial and Denial, still does not change the fact. Its his skin color stupid.

Why does all of Candy Crowley reports always end with a slam against President Obama's administration. Every since her candidate Hillary Clinton lost the election, her reports are always the same ?

Not ALL REPUBLI-CAN'Ts are racist. BUT, the REPUBLI-CAN’Ts have a problem SEPARATING themselves from the RACIST!!! They hide behind people like Wilson, Rush, Hannity, and BECK when they them to voice their opinion they are afraid of saying – THEN, the try to veer away from comments coming from the same pool when it REALLY does not look good for their party!!! It has to be ONE or the OTHER – not BOTH!!!

At every Town Hall meeting and EVERY rally that is shown in the media, the participants are ALL WHITE (mostly WHITE MEN). Within those same crowds, you have the most far-right BIGOTS and RACISTS who always seem to stand out MORE!!! What makes it worst, the HOST does not try to tone it down!!. Therefore, the entire crowd seems RACIST in most eyes. The media, who COVERS every rally, is the catalyst!!!

The assertion that is being made is NOT that every single protester is a racist, but that there are CLEAR and UNEQUIVOCAL signs that the President is being subjected to racism by SOME. Let us not cowardly back down from the reality that eve a blind man could see. Let us please acknowldge it and commit to beating this behaviour into oblivion where it belongs.

lol, if we are not allowed to criticize the president or his policies out of fear of being called racist, then we effectively would be living in a totalitarian regime much like Cuba or North Korea.

Educated, informed people of all races can clearly see problems with the presidents deficit spending, "cap and trade" program, healthcare reform and Czar appointments. We need to be able to debate (even be outspoken at town hall meetings!) without being intimidated by our government. Clearly racism exists, but 99% of the Presidents critics are focused on his bad policies not the color of his skin. Fix the policies and you'll win back the people!

Are all Republican voters racists? Certainly not. But those who are seem very proud of the fact that they are. They posture, boast and hide behind terms like socialism, terrorist, communist; terms they barely actually understand. How is some poor white trash trailer park slack jaw redneck going to understand the Russian Revolution? These are the unread cowards who are just angry that their day in the sun of a 1950s mentality in regards to race in America is over.

I think the problem is not with the President's color but the fact that he has surrounded himself with corrupt individuals and agencies. He has taken over our banking systems & car industries. He has appointed Czars who are accountable to no one but himself. It feels as if we are constantly having more and more of our rights threatened such as free speech and the right to bear arms. He hands us a health care plan that he wants pushed through without debate or investigation. The government run healthcare plans, medi-cal, and medi-care are a mess. Look at Social Security...Fix them first. The uproar has nothing to do with his color, but with his character.

RACISM??? Get real – every citizen is of a race??? Well, honest people are allowed to speak – at least they WERE – not be called racist for speaking their views. Is it only white people now who are called racists?
NOT so – NOT TRUE. Stop the vendetta against only white people NOW.

  21. Counting the days until the Obamanation is GONE and America can prosper again

The problem isn't the Obamanation, it's the socialistic bent that his government has, and his communistic Czars. But, I knew when he was elected president, that the race card would be played – anyone who doesn't agree MUST be racist. No matter how awful those policies are.

It is criticism where the racism makes the peron criticizing act unethically. Like Joe Wilson. Sure he has a concern about illegals getting healthcare, and this is his criticizing thought, but than him being a racist made him yell out his criticism when he said "You Lie." He would not have yelled this out if Obama were white.

criticism does not equal racism....... personally i can't stand the President's policies and pretty much disagree with everything he stands for but could care less about his color...... liberals are losing support from the independents and in turn are labeling all who oppose "RACISTS"...... This is a despicable act by all who play the race card and especially liberals in general
