Joe Wilson passes $2 million mark

A campaign aide confirmed that Wilson surpassed the $2 million mark on Monday.
Wilson and his 2010 opponent, Democrat Rob Miller, each raised more than $1.5 million in the week after Wilson's outburst, which occurred during President Obama's address to a joint session of Congress on September 9.
The House voted to formally reprimand Wilson last week, amidst an aggressive online fundraising effort by the congressman's staff.
Miller is scheduled to visit Washington on Wednesday for a pair of fundraisers on Capitol Hill.

If my child did what Joe Wilson did at school, he would get a 10 day suspension. If I did this at work, I would get fired. Joe Wilson does it and is rewarded for his bad behavior.
This is typical of what is wrong with Washington (with either party). Bad behavior is rewarded, not punished
Because he was telling the truth, BAM was lying through his buck teeth. Immigrants to did not have to show any identification to get insurance!. Just another lie by the democants.

As Joe Wilson is a part of our government and participating in an offical 'paid' meeting, I don't really consider him a "heckler" as your headline suggests. We still don't know if the President was lying or not do we? Where's the impartial investigation by our news media?
What do the reset of us do - the people who are sick of loutish, reactionary extremists posing as respectable conservatives, sick of the Pelosis, the teabggers, the death panel nuts, the run-from-Afghanistan-now-at-all-costs crowd? What about the people who inhabit the reasonable middle? Where is our party? Who represents us? Anyone who's not extreme is thought to be weak or uninformed or wishy-washy. Well, I'm not wishy-washy in being sickened by our slimy politics. If we're the greatest country on Earth, why do our political leaders so often act in a way that shames us? Speaqk up, people. Don't endorse any behavior just because it wears the label you do. Demand better from all sides - or we'll continue to slide down this greasy slope.

The headline on the front page that ties to this story...reads "Obama heckler takes in...." Why is it ok for this site to refer to Joe Wilson in a derogatory manner, yet Joe Wilson is chastised for speaking the truth?
Also-ask yourselves this? Why were they so quick to reprimand Wilson, yet Charlie Rangel and his very questionable accounting practices go un-reprimanded?

Headline: Conservatives reward rude behavior. What else is new?
Racism is alive and well in South Carolina, as if we didn't already know. The white supremacists are rising up and will spare no expense to get their party back in power. And no, these observations are not driven by Jimmy Carter's comment, or any other for that matter. I live in the Southeast, I see it every day, and I do mean every day.
Look at the faces of all the people sitting around and in front of Mr. Wilson in the photo. Not ONE person looks shocked or even turned to look at him in agreement or anything. They KNEW he was going to do this....sickening.
Each time CNN publishes another news piece about the angry mob, Joe makes more cash.

If, what Joe Wilson said is truth, then what he did is NOT heckling. I guess CNN is too biased to consider this.
I guess we can now assume that every republican wanting to raise money will shout out at President Obama every chance they get.
I think Wilson is a disgusting pig – and he will not be reelected no matter how much money the right wing fringe throws at him.
South Carolina has become a joke because of Sanford and Wilson...both are a disgrace to their state and to our country.

Is there a health care plan out there that we can all live with?
That's not outrageously expensive?
That's fair to everyone?
That ends the scandals of people being denied coverage for minor technicalities?
That end the personal fund raisers that appear regularly on local news (Please give money so my child can get cured!).
That's not riddles with special and expensive perks in order to get legislative support.
Sadly, I think this speaks volumes about Republicans. The Republican party is already bereft of credibility, moral authority, and any sense of ethics whatsoever. I guess the last thing they needed to get rid of was manners.

Distracting ourselves with Joe Wilson just prolongs the plan to pull the plug on Grandma. Obama's friends need that $500 billion being "wasted" on Medicare to buy important things like yachts. And we surely can’t have unemployed yacht workers.

Ask Wilson, as a former Army Lawyer, if he could yell at the judge and how often he did it..
Respect is taught in kindergarten on up. If you yell in class you are punished not rewarded. In the case of Wilson, he never learned and neither did those giving campaign contributions to him.
