(CNN) - Sarah Palin's 432 page memoir isn't set to be released for more than seven weeks, but the highly anticipated tell-all has already shot to No. 1 on Barnes and Nobles' Web site, supplanting new releases from bestselling authors Dan Brown and Mitch Albom.
The forthcoming book has also vaulted up Amazon.com's bestseller list, currently holding the No. 3 spot just behind Glenn Beck's "Arguing with Idiots: How to Stop Small Minds and Big Government."
The book - titled "Going Rogue: An American Life" in reference to the anonymous criticism directed at the former Alaska governor by aides to Republican presidential nominee John McCain - is scheduled to be released on November 17.
Palin's publisher, Harper, has ordered a massive first printing of 1.5 million copies, and is not releasing an electronic version until the day after Christmas in an effort to drive up sales of the more expensive hardcover edition, the Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday.

The more letters I read, the more I question the intelligence of the 'SO CALLED' average person..One says Sarah understands economics, and now we'll get the truth....come on, what truth are you talking about? It woulld be a first for her.Sarah is a personality with very little to say that isn't written for her. Real authors take years to write a book, she did this last month according to her news sources.I will say she's smart on one thing, she knows that there are enough suckers out there that buy her facade and will spend good money on a throwaway book.Heaven help us....

Memoirs are generally issued by elderly, accomplished and innovative people. Sarah Palin is none of the above.
The gigantic preorder numbers reflect optimistic sales plans of Wal Mart,
Borders, Barnes & Noble, Amazon, etc. They do not necessarily indicate consumption by end users although the hype behind this majestic piece of shyte will doubtless cause many a fool to be separated from his cash.

Of course it's going to go to #1. But she didn't write it – her ghost writer and co-auther did. Anybody can "write" a book – and she has a "name" and a national platform. So what? Who cares?
But, here is an exception to the old aying "You can't judge a book by it's cover." In this case, I think we can.

Palin doesn't read books and she cannot write one. Her ghost writer is hard at work on a self-promoting work of fiction that will masquerade as Palin's work. Palin will not even read her own "autobiography". Short attention span.

Of course it's gonna be number one but that's only because righties will support it and buy it off the shelves...Limbaugh,Hannity, and Glenn probably had pre orders just to boost it up. Only in America rings true here as well. I bet if Levi wrote a tell all book it would be number one as well.

Hopefully Sarah at least gave McCain a knobjob for picking her as his VP candidate. She'd never have ghostwritten a book that Conservative companies propel to the best seller list and keep locked away in a warehouse any other way.
