Christie web video: Corzine is 'whack'

Chris Christie released a spoof music video on the Internet that asks voters if they can afford four more years of Democratic Gov. Jon Corzine.

WASHINGTON (CNN) - Hours before the first official faceoff between the three candidates fighting to be New Jersey's next governor, Republican hopeful Chris Christie released a spoof music video on the Internet that asks voters if they can afford four more years of Democratic Gov. Jon Corzine.

Christie's campaign put out a parody of the viral FreeCreditReport.com commercials on a variety of social networking sites on Thursday, showing two young men playing guitars and singing that they "gotta vote for him before we drown in debt."

"I was shopping for a pad for my baby, a cool condo or up in a tree," they sing in the video. "Too bad I didn't know my governor was whack, taxes are too high, my pay check is getting jacked."

Corzine released his own television ad on Thursday touting his record as governor, and saying that he still has "more to do." The ad is airing on cable stations in New Jersey.

"There's more to do, it's a work in progress, and we have more to do to get our fiscal house in order," Corzine said in the ad. "I think I can do that."

The debate on Thursday night will feature Corzine, Christie and independent candidate Chris Daggett. The gubernatorial election is November 3.

Since blue areas like New Jersey would elect Bin Laden, ahmedinajad, or even kim jong if they had a little d next to their name, I really don't think that Corizine has anything to worry about.

There are just so many mobsters/union cronies, government dependents and workers stealing money, plus a bunch of just evil, hateful, selfish, mean-sprited Democrats who have not the slightest regard for human life what so ever, that it is almost impossible for a republican to get elected here, and that's if you don't have the standard Demo-voter fraud that is always in play in the blue. Take the average Democrat in America, put them in a room give them a gun with one bullet with Bin Laden and Sarah Palin as their targets, 99 out of 100 Democrats are aiming at Palin, I mean read the ticker, Democrats are no longer shy about who they really are and their true intentions.

Again we see the nastiness, commonest and down right crude actions of the republicans. What normal American would want people like this representating them...we know like gravitites to like so the most nastity and violent people will be republicans. We see that in the violence and hate screaming nutso who attended the town hall meetings.

Where did these people come from. where did they ever ever get their learning from....TAKE THEIR COUNTRY BACK...they are all stupid as heck. We are just taking the country back from the crooked, corrupt, stealing, violent and lying bunch that ran it into the ground for the last eight years..

If they don't like it, they know where they can go...but I prefer to send them to a desert island and maybe they might have enough brains left to figure out how to run it....since they will be taking the likes of Fox News butts, rush, malken, drudge and all the republican congress maybe the infighting will thin out the species.

Corzine is absolutely correct! When you haven't done anything productive, you certainly do have a lot left to do... But it's far better to get someone else in who CAN get things done.

I am in NJ, and the only folks who want to see Corzine re-elected are union government workers, people on welfare, and real estate agents in Pennsylvania. NJ has been hemoraghing jobs and citizens for years, businesses are moving out, taxes are the worst in the nation by every measure, and PA is poaching those businesses that haven't moved down to the Carolinas.

I have seen real estate agents in NJ anonymously encourage people NOT to buy houses here. It's that bad.

As election day draws near, the campaigning – replete with mud-slinging – is heating up. As to the innuendos re Christie's weight which has even been an item on WPIX News, personally, I feel that as long as someone is mentally and physically fit, his physique should not be an impediment to running a state. However, with health care issues so much in the air, how does one become an advocate for healthy choices amongst the populace one oversees, when the person in question is grossly rotund and has a midriff which jiggles with every move he makes?

The Republicans did not learn their lesson from the disaster that the 2008 elections were. They continue their old tactics of lies, hate, fear and division.

They do not get that Americans are sick and tired of the vitriolic politics of the far-right!

Give us solutions, NEW ideas, stop pandering to Big Pharma , Big Oil & Big Insurance. Show by your actions GOP that you are for the..... people!

    Crickets chirping.

The Democrat talks about the issues while the Republican makes a mocking music video. Why am I not surprised?

I didn't see the video. It actually could be funny or really offensive. Anyway, I'm not surprised Repbulicans will do anything to try to regain power.

Christie has no room to talk about anybody. If you knew him, you'd throw up just knowing that people like him are allowed to show their face in public.

The [R]s are so pathetic that a [D] governor doing an arguably poor job is essentially even in the polls with the [R] candidate. This is because of the abject and unrepentant failure foisted on the American people by the entire [R] party, especially since 2000. If you think Corzine is doing a bad job, just wait until the utter failure brought on by Chritie and all his birth-bagging supporters.

Hmmm . . . wonder if they got permission to cop the song and the ad theme? Well, we know how republicans feel about intellectual property rights when it comes to their campaign materials. Barracuda!

Coloring someone elses paper black to make yours look more white, is bad politics to me. Even if you put your negative snipes to music, they are still flat and very sadly off key.

Stick to your own strengths, and let positive and good ideas entertain us for once.

Every single person, dog, cat and house plant, is wilting from the
    barrage of political advertising. PERIOD.
