[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/10/02/art.newttwitter.cnn.jpg caption="Gingrich is taking aim at Obama on Twitter."](CNN) - Former House Speak Newt Gingrich is taking aim on Twitter at President Obama over Chicago's loss in its bid to host the 2016 Olympics:

@newtgingrich Somehow charm and oratory dont seem to work in foreign affirs but historians have warned that foreign policy is different than campaigning

@newtgingrich President Eisenhower had a rule that Presidents of the United States went to the meetings after success had been assured

@newtgingrich President Obama fails to get the Olympics while unemployment goes to 9.8% Iran continues nuclear program. America needs focused leadership

Focused leadership? Newt should talk: he could not even focus on his first and second marriages long enough to make them work, much less keeping his revolution of imbeciles going: is having Tom DeLay on "Dancing with the Stars" what you had in mind when you made him the GOP Whip?

Be careful Mr. Gingrich. You know how the left likes to play it. You'll be called a "racist" and if that doesn't work the left will blame it on Bush.

'Who is this moron?', mind you language. Barack Obama is moron because he did not allow our sports authority and sportsmen to make presentation in Denmark. You should leave these events to our professional sportsmen. You may be blinded by Obama's gimmicks but we are not.

How shameless these Republicans are. With millions of Americans unemployed, you didn't want the President to lobby to bring jobs to our country?

And, while we had two wars going on, unemployment going up, houses being foreclosed and Wall Street stealing American's money, George Bush spent 4 days in China watching the Olympics and ass slapping a member of the women's volley ball team.

But that's okay to do because he is a Republican and Christian.

    Hypocritical to the sickening degree.

And if Chicago HAD gotten the Olympics, Gingrich would find some reason to criticize Obama for that.

There's no winning with a bigot.

Obama went to bat for his country, it didn't work, those are the breaks. Gave it his best shot. Nothing to hang his head about. But Republican glee and spite in the aftermath, that's something that embarrasses this nation, makes us look like the world's biggest asshats.

Just because Fox thinks that Newt is a conservative luminary doesn't mean that CNN has to take the bait.

CNN, why are you pumping up this gasbag?

Way to go, Newt. As usual, you have nothing constructive to say. Had the Olympics come to Chicago, I'm sure we'd hear the opposite from you, berating him for bringing in the Olympics when there's no money to build the facilities, but unable to do anything else, like Iran nukes. And tell me, what did the previous administration do with Iran? Or Afghanistan for that matter? Not a whole lot.

But then, the whole idea of the GOP is to deepen the divide between people in the nation, to just say the opposite of what the administration says and does, and explain why the administration's ideas are all bad.

Maybe the Republicans should be renamed Republi"can'ts".

How this serial philanderer can comment on this President, who is an honorable family man, is hypocrisy at its best.

  24. Gary Jaussaud

    Gary's comment is:

Newt Gingrich has to say something, that is his job as a talking head.
Something is happing however, the talking heads of the right wing have gone a little quiet as of late, perhaps they are getting tired of
just saying no to everything, and perhaps things are slowing getting
better? Newt hopes not, but the rest of us do.

Well, it was a waste of tax payer's money. Maybe Obama will begin to see that he is not cracked up to what he thinks he is. Maybe he will do some work now.
