And, while we had two wars going on, unemployment going up, houses being foreclosed and Wall Street stealing American's money, George Bush spent 4 days in China watching the Olympics and ass slapping a member of the women's volley ball team.
But that's okay to do because he is a Republican and Christian.

And if Chicago HAD gotten the Olympics, Gingrich would find some reason to criticize Obama for that.

Obama went to bat for his country, it didn't work, those are the breaks. Gave it his best shot. Nothing to hang his head about. But Republican glee and spite in the aftermath, that's something that embarrasses this nation, makes us look like the world's biggest asshats.

Way to go, Newt. As usual, you have nothing constructive to say. Had the Olympics come to Chicago, I'm sure we'd hear the opposite from you, berating him for bringing in the Olympics when there's no money to build the facilities, but unable to do anything else, like Iran nukes. And tell me, what did the previous administration do with Iran? Or Afghanistan for that matter? Not a whole lot.
But then, the whole idea of the GOP is to deepen the divide between people in the nation, to just say the opposite of what the administration says and does, and explain why the administration's ideas are all bad.
Maybe the Republicans should be renamed Republi"can'ts".

Something is happing however, the talking heads of the right wing have gone a little quiet as of late, perhaps they are getting tired of
just saying no to everything, and perhaps things are slowing getting
better? Newt hopes not, but the rest of us do.
Well, it was a waste of tax payer's money. Maybe Obama will begin to see that he is not cracked up to what he thinks he is. Maybe he will do some work now.
