Gingrich hits Obama over Olympics

Wow, I didn't even think Gingrich was following the Olympic bid process. I thought he was too busy hosting the porn industry at his fundraiser.

Newt: I didn't hear you last year when W went to the olympics for four days. Now, the country needs focused leadership?
And how would someone who represents a party that finds so much meaningless crap to cry about blame the other side for not being focused? How is the country served by your garbage about death panels, birthers, tenthers, ACORN, etc. contributing to the focused leadership that you say we need?

My guess is that they haven't had a Republican president who could do two things at one in quite awhile....sad....
Newt worked for and still praises Ronald Reagan. The last time unemployment was this high in America was 3 years into the Reagan administration which Newt worked for.
Why is he even a news story anymore? He's washed up and has nothing better to do than obsess over the President.. that's right, he's obsessed.
Get a life Newt. We can clearly see through your BS. No matter what Obama does you say it is a mistake. If you want your parties followers to be composed of the most gullible, ignorant, rednecks in the land you are doing an incredible job.
So Gringrich is gloating over the fact the United States lost out on its bid to get an event that would bring money and glory to America. How unpatriotic. These people who put their obsession to see the president fail ahead of their country are disgusting.
On the other hand, when W was informed that Al Qaeda was in the United States and planning to attack, he went for a bike ride! Not to mention that Bush was the most absent president in modern times spending a full 1/3 of his time out of Washington. (Actually, that may have been a benefit–just think of how much more harm he could have done.)
As far as Newt is concerned, when Clinton attacked Bin Laden, Newt and his colleagues warned the president not to start any foreign entanglements while the Newtster was preparing to impeach him.
Other than he cannot spell–it is vicious that Gingrich is gloatingover Americans not getting jobs at a Chicago Olympics just to spite Obama.
Obviously, he is un-American and enjoys seeing Americans suffer.
All the naysayers can't change the fact that Newt is RIGHT.
More inane noise from the vacuous rightwing. While the rest of us continue to evolve and progress within the real world, the [R] party has played out to the maximum state of entropy, and it is now pure noise with no hope of regaining anything like a real-world signal.
Why is it whenever Newt decides to slither from under whatever rock he's been hiding it is with the sole purpose of taking shots at Obama and the Democrats? I guess if he were a part of any solution he wouldn't spend his time talking about why others are the problem.

Within 50 years, Newt Gingrich will be remembered by historians as the person who was most individually responsible for having first corrupted polical discourse in the United States. During the 1990s, before he left office in disgrace, he turned debates in a great super power into a circus.
Americans must reject Gingrich and all those who came after him and who are still introducing so much vileness and sleaziness into our political discourse, and we must do it before they do any more harm to our country and everything that has made it great.
Remember kids, when Obama spends 16 hours trying to get the US the Olympics it's bad. When Bush spent 4 days watching the Olympics, it's all good. The GOP and Newt are nothing but an international joke.
