President Obama to donate Nobel Prize money to charity
WASHINGTON (CNN) - President Barack Obama will donate the roughly $1.4 million award from his 2009 Nobel Peace Prize to charity, a White House spokesman said Friday.

This is actually a good move.

A good decision... I would like to say that the Republicans will embrace this as a positive example of leadership from their Commander In Chief. I would like to say that, but alas, I fear that many of Obama's conservative detractors will find yet another way to spin this in a negative light.

President Obama will be donating to his charity of choice, it's his money and Republicans don't have anything to do with which charity he selects. Got it.
Its amazing that the Nobel Prize is now based on Affirmative Action.

I simply clapped upon reading that Obama was chosen for and now awarded the Nobel Prize for 'inspiring "hope" at the start of his term' - so deserved. I am so proud of our country – that we elected not just a fantastic leader for our country, but for the world.
To the "nay-sayer:" read carefully WHY President Obama will be handed this award - it is for the hope he has inspired in the world community, not for any specific doings - so no grounds for criticism 🙂
