The ball is now in the wingnuts court to criticize him for this. You can just hear their angry remarks.

Personally, I think he could use it to pay down Bush's $700 Billion in TARP money that was given to banks with no accountability. How about giving to Gov. Perry's defense fund for executing the wrong prisoner? Why not Ensign for violating federal law for not waiting one year to deal with his mistress' husband as a lobbyist. Why not give it to Vitter to spend on hookers?

Machiavelli, the father of politics, so listen to him. Machiavelli’s estimation of Borgia was a virtuous and worthwhile leader in the long run. He judged him not by his actions but by his achievements.

At the end any leader will be judged by his achievements.

Why can't we just celebrate the fact that President Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize...An American won this prestigious award and he gave the prize to charity...maybe he gave it to homeless rednecks everywhere and maybe that would help out all you folks that are outraged...And, all you right wingers labeling our president the magic negro, having a black man heading the republican party is really magic!!! If Michael Steele would just look around himself, he would say...uh, i am magic! Is he a magic negro or just a black man that has decide to get his fame by defaming other people. Having a black man as their leader does not mean blacks will flock to join that club!!! Who raised this man?? Inquiring minds want to know!

What did Obama do in his first two weeks as President to merit a Nobel Prize? Easy. He changed America from a nation that tortured prisoners in secret prisons to a nation that does not torture prisoners. With that one executive order, he returned America to the community of civilized nations. That is a big frick'n deal.

Not surprised. With class, grace and humility back in the WH (congress can take a lesson) it was to be expected that he would give his prize away to charity.

Its a shame that Obama hasn't been able to lobby congress as successfully as he was able to lobby the Nobel committee. Something more to feed his already overwhelming ego and still no results on anything he promised since he took office. I am a lifelong democrat but I find this man repugnant.

This is outrageous. Another obvious attempt to make Republicans look greedy and small-minded by comparison. Will this man stop at NOTHING??

Well, we knew he'd donate the prize money to charity, because he's a good man. The question is what charity?

I love this president, and I love this country.
