Because he is decent. We live in a world where basic human decency is prized. That's a wake up call to us all, last but not least the GOP.

I'm proud of him and our country. Our new foreign policy tone is being recognized. The right needs to start cooperating with him instead of hating everything he says and does.

Now, that's a NOBEL jesture!!!! I personally think he deserved the award. Just look at all the effort he had with getting our country back on track. The International Community can clearly see his efforts but the Nutcases and Repus here in the USA refuse to give our President praise for his hard work.

Well, he'll have to pay income tax on the full amount of the income. And, if he gets his wish, he won't be able to deduct the charitable contribution. This will end up costing him big time in the end. It sucks to be rich, doesn't it Obama? Or did you forget that you are one of those evil, rich people that you preach against?

Joe Biden has given an average of $368 a year to charity over the last 10 years. Maybe Obama can give some in his name to help the guy out?

a good decision. this may be the first sign that the choice made by the Nobel committee is sound. the president has the opportunity to help so many, both here and elsewhere.
