A screengrab of Barack Obama's Twitter account (run by Organizing for America, President Obama's political arm which is now operated out of the Democratic National Committee), echoes the word that, according to Twitter, most Americans have on their mind: humbled. The other two words that quickly rose on Twitter's Trending Topic list, which reflects what is drawing the most discussion on Twitter right now are "Nobel" and "President Obama."

Proud to be an American and Proud of our President. If you can't say anything good then just shut up. Now is a time to feel good about this country and keep your back bitting negivive remarks to your self. So many unpatriotic wing nuts out there I am embarrased for them and this country. Congratulations to our president . He didn't ask for this but some people in this world thought he deserved it.

Congratulations to a wonderfully worthy recipient!.......NO Nobel to the party of NO....Since we reap what we sow, only negatives will be laid at their feet.....

Racism went buck wild crazy at the news of President Obama's Award......Despite Republican's token faux trophy, it becomes more certain each day that Steele's role in the party is that of racial buffer.......He gives racism the protection it needs to perpetuate Repub anti-Obama agendas......Rich lady Johnson is another up and coming token......When will they learn, and lose their slave mentalitiy?
