Snowe to vote for Finance Committee health care bill
WASHINGTON (CNN) - Sen. Olympia Snowe, R-Maine, said Tuesday that she will vote for the Senate Finance Committee's health care bill.

WSJ – 'States of Personal Priviledge' is this still part of the bill she voted for – Nevada federal government ie. taxpayers will pay all of Nevads additional expenses for next 5 years. Oregon, Rhode Island, and Michigan also gets funded by the other 46 states. 40% tax on "luxury" plans unless you live in New York where union benefits don't taxed until the plan cost around 20% more. So much for equal rights. Great plan unless you live in the other 30 plus states who will have to pay for it. The good news is the taxes start soon, while nothing changes until after the 2012 election. Wonder why that is?
Haha...as much as I hate the bill for not containing a significant public option, I'm still going to laugh at her political crucifixion by her own party. I'll be a wonderful display of the GOP's unworthiness to be considered anything but disgusting.

what does that mean? the repubs aren't going to support obama's legislative goals? they are going to vote party line against democratic legislation? they are going to become obstructionists?
what a joke. the republicans are useless for progress at this point. they can't point to votes to continue to send young americans to die in two wars and say they are willing to negotiate and support the administration.

One vote represents bi-partisanship in 2009.
But what can you expect from a party, whose leader publicly stated that "b-partisanship is over-rated"?
May as well. The health insurance companies are going to raise their rates no matter what happens.
Good for her; but this does not make for bipartisanism.
The republicans as a whole will never endorse this or any other issue that will help the people or Democrats.
I say go for single payer non-profit universal health care now and let the chips fall where they will.
It is clear were the for profit insurance companies are at by their most recent fear tactics. And The Republicans will never help this President.
