Steele's blog no longer titled 'What Up?'

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/10/14/art.gop.gi.jpg caption="The RNC has apparently changed the name of Michael Steele's blog."]WASHINGTON (CNN) - After an initial round of Internet mockery, the Republican National Committee has apparently decided to drop "What Up?" as the title of Michael Steele's blog on the newly revamped GOP.com.

One day after the rollout of the site, which crashed repeatedly throughout the day Wednesday and was ridiculed by Democrats and Republicans alike, Steele's blog is now called "Change the Game."

There's still only one post so far on the blog, a short entry that asks readers to answer the question, "Why are you a Republican?"

I think they would probably benefit more from asking the question "Why are you NOT a republican?"

I think the answer to the Why Are You a Republican question is obvious: it's because you're an idiot. Can't get any simpler than that.

Epic fail. No substance left in the Republican Party. Plenty of hatred, greed, and hypocracy though.

Mr Steele... Please crawl back under your rock. Your 15 minutes are up and you are embarrassing yourself.

I have an idea for the republicans. Abandon the extreme and often hateful tone created by Fox News, Glenn Beck, Rush, Congresswoman Bachmann and some of the other extremist withing the right wing and adopt a rational, civil and broadbased approach at becoming the party that Abraham Lincoln would be proud of.

The more extreme they become the further away they are from returning to power. They have become an embarrassment to any thinking conservative.

He should have called it "what up dog?" in keeping with the republican party's new off da hook hip-hop theme. Have a nice day!

Its should have been called "Changing My Mind Every Second"

The GOP is in total disarray because they have no new ideas, and when someone with a new idea comes along they all gang up and bash them.

Just look what happens to Lindsey Graham and Meghan McCain. If they so much as waver from what the radicals in their party want, they are called names and threatened.

Michael Steele's next headline will be "Yes we can – again"

What's up with this clown? Can't he come up with an original thought?

"Change" Yes, we had to change from the fail policies of GOP; the total waste of tax payers dollars to support their war machine and invasion of Iraq.

Ok Michael! Here's an original: "Mission Accomplished with hate"

The GOP have totally lost it.
They have chosen extremism over integrity, honor and what they have been elected to do which is represent us and our country.
And become bigger misguided fools every day.

If these people are not smart enough to know that's more than a few steps over the line, how in the hell does anyone who isn't addicted to eating paint chips off old window sills think they should be leading this country again?

That's a question I'm sure A LOT of Republicans have been asking themselves for the last few years!

We did change the game, when we elected Democrats to Congress and put President Obama in the White House. You had eight years, you don't get to say "change the game" after eight months of a different president. So shut up.

Huey Lewis sang "It's HIP To Be Square," not "it's hip to be some amorphous throbbing blob of insidious, seething hatred for everything that isn't a Republican't."
THAT'S why nobody liked the title of your blog title.

And no one is posting on it because they have considered the question, and NOT having been able to come up with a clear answer, they have chosen NOT to identify themselves as such.

The short entry on their blog asks "Why are you a Republican?". It should ask "Why are you STILL a Republican?". The party has become a joke that's been taken over by Neocons, religious extremists, and folks who have no ability or desire to separate fact from opinion/fiction. It's really sad.
