An aide to the First Lady announced Thursday that Sanford will participate in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, a Charleston-area 5K run/walk to benefit breast cancer research.
The first lady has kept a low profile since her husband, Gov. Mark Sanford, revealed an extramarital affair in June. She gave an interview to the Associated Press shortly after the affair and was the subject of a glowing profile in Vogue Magazine last month, but has been otherwise silent. Sanford is also writing a memoir, set to be published in May 2010.
Where are the teabaggers - she is separated from the gov. Who's paying for the aide? Taxpayers of SC?
We wonder how she will continue hearin' her estranged and embattled hubby's non-sensical giggerish about his not breaking any kind of rules. This bozo is a humiliation to an average, honest and hard-workin' US politician.
Jenny made a wise choice to leave Mark Sanford, the stinko. When all is said and done, her sons will realize which parent made the right choices for their sake.
Mark will be crying in a bib when he's old and grey and will wonder why his sons won't come visit. His latina paramour will be long gone.
please do not continue to air your troubles in public
She knows scum and has distanced herself from it.
Another "public figure" getting rich off the word "adultery". These women are beginning to make me sick.
I feel badly for her. Jenny is another victim of republican family values.
I am thinking if we want to pay any more attention about them (either Mr. or Mrs. Sanford). Are they selling books and making money from it? Was it possible that his extramarital affair was a fiction or an arrangement of a drama? Or even if it was not a fiction, could it possibly be like a commercial advertisement of selling their books?
I am so proud of this woman. I have seen many women compromise their principles and stand with men that have totally disrespected them for the whole world to see. I am so happy that this strong woman has decided that she will rear her four beautiful boys as men of integrity. Her children will rise up and call her blessed!
I can understand why Sanford went to Argentina. I don't understand why he came back.
This should send a message to all women, avoid republicans.
