Blagojevich reportedly lands gig on Celebrity Apprentice

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/10/16/art.celeb.gi.jpg caption="Blagojevich is reportedly going to star in Celebrity Apprentice."](CNN) - Members of the Blagojevich family are becoming pros at reality television.

First, Patti Blagojevich, wife of ex-Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, appeared on NBC's "I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here" this past summer, lasting 23 days in the Costa Rican jungle before being voted off.

Now the disgraced former governor himself - who had reportedly been the original choice for the Survivor-like show - appears likely to be a cast member of this season's "Celebrity Apprentice."

People Magazine reports Blagojevich has been spotted on the New York City set, along with Sharon Osbourne, ex-baseball star Darryl Straweberry, celebrity chef Curtis Stone, and comedian Sinbad. Singer Cyndi Lauper and Bret Michaels are also rumored to be a part of this year's cast.

NBC is not confirming the official cast list.

Thanks CNN for staying on top of the really important issues like ex-Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich's TV career, scandal plagued Jenny Sanford's jogging schedule and Meghan McCain's Twitter problems. With your coverage of these pivotal issues, I don't know why anyone would switch to MSNBC or FOX.

To Mr. Fitzgerald, when is this idiot going to go on trial? Also, aren't you all a little tired of these so-called reality type programs? Frankly, who wants to see more rude has-beens in this type of setting? Is their no more creativity in people now, that can cause them to put out something more entertaining for us to watch on TV?

With both Blagojevich and Trump on the same show, it should be called "Who Is The Biggest Irrelevant Narcissist?"

Rod, you have disgraced yourself. Think about that for a moment. You are without honour.
