Blagojevich reportedly lands gig on Celebrity Apprentice

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/10/16/art.celeb.gi.jpg caption="Blagojevich is reportedly going to star in Celebrity Apprentice."](CNN) - Members of the Blagojevich family are becoming pros at reality television.

First, Patti Blagojevich, wife of ex-Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, appeared on NBC's "I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here" this past summer, lasting 23 days in the Costa Rican jungle before being voted off.

Now the disgraced former governor himself - who had reportedly been the original choice for the Survivor-like show - appears likely to be a cast member of this season's "Celebrity Apprentice."

People Magazine reports Blagojevich has been spotted on the New York City set, along with Sharon Osbourne, ex-baseball star Darryl Straweberry, celebrity chef Curtis Stone, and comedian Sinbad. Singer Cyndi Lauper and Bret Michaels are also rumored to be a part of this year's cast.

NBC is not confirming the official cast list.

Over the last few weeks, my opinion of Blago , has changed ! I think he missed his calling , he is a natural in front of a camera . If he had not gone into politics he could have had a career in showbiz! So I say go for it ! I do not watch the show , but I possibly might tune in just because I think he is hilarous!

Do not get me wrong , I think he is a crook and should be punished if found guilty(which of course ,he is innocence till found guilty), but possibly he woulda coulda been a great character actor! He knows how to work a camera.

I love how the media berates Mark Sanford, but embraces this guy! Both are scumbags and corrupt politicians, but you gotta love that liberal double standard!

I would think the Governor has already proven he's as sleazy as The Donald. Being an aprentice seems a waste of time.

It gets me sick to my stomach when they make stars out of these people who have abused our government offices.
Especially those like Tom DeLay and Rob Blagojevich!

This is going to be interesting! I actually miss hearing about Ol' Blago in the news, and the best part is he'll be doing it for charity. Maybe he'll redeem himself.

Oh, and CNN, the disgraced former governor would be Sarah Palin. 😀
