WASHINGTON (CNN) - Former President George W. Bush has a new speaking gig.

Bush will be featured as the "special guest speaker" at an October 26 "Get Motivated!" business seminar in Fort Worth, Texas, according to an announcement on the organization's Web site.

Tamara Lowe, the Co-Founder and Executive Vice President of Get Motivated Seminars, Inc., said in a phone interview that the former president will appear live and in person at the upcoming event. Lowe estimated that Bush will speak for roughly 20 minutes. Lowe also said that the company has all the necessary safety precautions in place to host a former president.

Bush's former Secretary of State Colin Powell and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani are set to join Bush at the October 26 event.

The former president is also scheduled to participate in another "Get Motivated!" seminar in San Antonio, Texas on December 2, according to the company's Web site.

"For a limited time only," the Web site says, tickets are available to the October and December events for $4.95 per person or $19 for a group.

CNN is awaiting confirmation from a representative of the former president about the scheduled appearances at the seminars.

$4.95 for mangled language and dithering thoughts is $4.95 too much.

Maybe Wubya could give Obama a "get motivated" talk about protecting American troops in Afganistan.

Anyone who would refuse to hear a former president speak for only $4.95 is a complete moron. I have never met President Bush but have friends who have had one-on-one conversations with him and to a person they say he is bright, friendly and very articulate. The press liked to show his stumbles but the guy didn't become the Governor of Texas and a two-term president without having a tremendous amount of ability. I didn't like Jimmy Carter much as a president but would love to hear him speak in person. It's a shame that politics have become so divisive that 68% of your voters would not pay a few dollars to see President Bush.

He should stay secluded at his ranch. Every time he shows up in public I'm reminded of just how lucky we are to have President Obama!

I'd probably actually go see this. I like the guy a lot better now that he's out of office.

And this is the guy who didn't get motivated when he heard about bin Laden to strike in US? You have got to be kidding! He does know how to get motivated for war, however! Perhaps that is his impetus to provide talks on motivation! He also knows how to ruin good countries, toss in a wrench to the economic system and so forth. But motivating people?

I wish I would never see George Bush face in the news again. He irreparably destroyed this nation with two wars and two recessions. He should speak about "Mission Accomplished: America Destroyed". Or he should speak about "Get Motivated ... to Destroy America".
People should gather a lot of shoes to throw at his face. Venezualan president Chavez should attend and call him "The Devil".
    Double Wars
    Double Recessions

I wonder who Bush is returning the favor for while speaking at this thing

These things are like a cult, brainwashed people brainwashing other people hoping they can get rich off of someone else's misfortune

    Motivate who to do what?

I truly hoped this lifelong failure would disappear after January's Inauguration, never to surface again. Alas, such is not the case. To imagine someone actually paying to see this miserable excuse for a human being is beyond comprehension.

Our country continues to spiral downward, thanks to the ultra-Right extremists and their collective warped sense of reason.

AMAZING, Sarah Palin gets better gigs than GWB...
OK, it's not REALLY amazing, it just highlights how BIG a loser the former President is, Nationally and Internationally. Can't get a good paying job. Gotta let ANYONE in (even Democrats and Liberals), got let them in for about the price of a Happy Meal...
And I bet he doesn't have the wit so see the ironies of all of this.

Why didn't he actually do something positive when he was prez. Instead, he turned the world against us and squandered our future.

"Get Motivated" seminar is coming to Fort Worth, TX on October 26th, 2009. Our office is getting tickets for anyone who wants to attend. The entire office is going for a price of $4.95 for the group not each. I volunteered to watch the phones in the office. No guest on the list could motivate me. Final reminder was given today to those who wanted to attend so I may not be the only one working that day. It's great to be a Government employee!

That is ~exactly~ what this nation needs right now.

A reminder of just how bad the republicans screwed things up.

And good Ol" former President Bush is exactly the man to do it.
