Did Schwarzenegger say f**k you to legislature?

ALT TEXT

Did Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger mean to hide a message in this note?

(CNN) - Was Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's message to state lawmakers unhappy - or obscene?

That's the current debate in California after the governor sent a letter directed to "Members of the California State Assembly" that appeared to have a subtle but pointed message hidden within the text.

The seven-line note in which the California Republican blasts the legislature for not advancing his administration's proposals on a host of issues appears innocuous enough at first glance.

But upon closer examination, the first letter of every line collectively spells 'f**k you'.

A spokesman for Schwarzenegger said the governor had no intent of hiding the message within his note, calling it a mere "coincidence."

–CNN's Carey Bodenheimer contributed to this story.

Good for him...The sad thing is that you have to hide your disdain for these pathetic pieces of crap that populate our legislatures.

Good for Arnold. Intentional or not, the State legislature certainly has gotten the message they truly deserve.

Until this State Legislature wakes up and
puts forth some of the much needed reforms
your constitutents are crying for, then State Dems
ought to think about declaring the state bankrupt,
unless of course they have plans to sell off the
rest of the state's assets in a fire sale to raise
sufficient funds to make payroll next year.

Good old Arnold. The last politician in California with any sense of reality and now we know he has a sense of humor too. Here's another 4 letter greeting: Love You!!!!

If this is real why is there no state seal? This is hoax and CNN fell for it.

Intentional or not, this is darn funny.

But I wouldn't give the man any grief over it. After all... given the current state of affairs in CA, it would be very much deserved.

I think Dick Cheney dropping "F-bombs" on the floor of the Senate was far more funny than this deal. Besides the govenor is not a far right wing neo-con Republican so if he did do it then he gets a pass in my book!

If Schwatrzenegger did compose this letter to purposefully say F-you then I think he is brilliant! He used humor, and tact to get his very valid point across.

    Bravo Arnold the Terminator,

Only you have the guts to tell these bums what needs to be said.
These useless politicians that somehow get elected by the political machines of our State are not capable of solving our State's problems.
I hope this is what you meant, because as a Californian I feel the same way.

So what? The California Legislature deserves it. Even though I think this was unintentional.

I didn't see or read the word f**k y**, but when I read it, it had a kind of an accent to it.

Even though I'm definitely more of a progressive, I've been a fan of Arnold. He made some tough choices that not only had to be made, but that others more concerned with a long-term political career wouldn't have, and the state is better off for it. I also like how he refuses to take crap from people. Our leaders at both the state and federal levels could learn from him, and kudos for putting the lousy Legislature in their place.

Arnold is a sleaze and a terrible governor elected by the same small group of right wing trolls that make up the tea baggin' birther movement.

For crying out loud, no wonder the media is so dumb. You're supposed to read from 'left to right' not up to down each letter! Thanks Arnie for being more literate than some of your non-ESL (English Second Language) colleagues.

Wow. People, you don't know BY NOW that when you have 24 hours news networks, they're going to have to talk about irrelevant things to fill all that time? I think they all need to disappear entirely. We have emergency broadcast systems if we need to hear about something immediately. We don't need these networks.

And of course this was intentional. If it wasn't, then Arnold has a SERIOUSLY smart and effective subconscious. The odds of this happening by chance are ASTRONOMICAL. Like winning 3 national lotteries on the same day.

  25. tired of this..

Seems like someone have lot of time to found that hidden message. CNN and other news agencies should focus on real news. Not bad propaganda..
