Bill Clinton to address Senate Democrats on health care

[cnn-photo-caption image= caption="Clinton will address Senate Democrats Tuesday."]Washington (CNN) - Two senior Democratic sources that former president Bill Clinton will attend the Senate Democrats' weekly luncheon Tuesday to address the caucus on health care.

"All Senators should be aware that former President Clinton will be making a presentation on Health Care at tomorrow's caucus lunch," said a notice sent to all Senate Democrats. "Senator Reid has requested that all Democratic Senators attend."

Democratic leaders have consistently cited what they call a lesson of the Clinton administration: fail to pass health care, and congressional Democrats will suffer on Election Day.

Of course the mere mention of Clinton's name will bring out the Conservative naysayers, who will make sneering double entendres and find a way to accuse Clinton of socialism, communism, and satanism.

Let me say that one Clinton is worth more than Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Bush (the good one), Quayle (remember that famous Republican?), Bush (the other one), McCain, and Palin all added up. That sorry lineup is the best Conservatism could come up with during our lifetimes. The Democrats gave us FDR, Truman, Kennedy, Johnson, Carter, Clinton, and Obamba who transformed this nation. A very stark comparison.

Is CNN turning into FOX NEWS?I prey not, we need a nutereal new organization nowdays and not just all this hate mongering in all our news we get.Seems the more we worry about the far left or right:more the middle gets forgotten. We need to meet in the middle and let the loones on both sides get lost and find a middle ground in this country so we all can live in peace and prosper.Time to put thies so called political differences to the side and do whats right for America and work together. The old saying goes you can please most of the people most of the time and none of the people all of the time.Stop working on a perfict bill and get the job done is all I got to say.Dems need to be dems and reps need to be reps and stop behaving like mad 5 year olds and do what we are famus for and meet in the middle.

I ask you, what good is this huge investment in Health Care going to do for us, if the military-industrial establishment (read: CIA) keeps coming out with all these plagues, ie: West Nile, Avian Bird flu, HIV, Swine Flu, now H1N1.

If Geoge Bush's CIA keeps dumping all these plagues into the citizens, all the Health Care in the World is going to at best just neutralize it, with the end result being nothing more than adding a ton more debt on top of all of America's already enormous debt.

The democrats and the Obama administration aren't trying to "fix" the healthcare system with their overhaul, they are trying to "take over" and make American's more dependant on the government, making it bigger and bigger and more socialistic.

    Wake up America!

For those of us who support Health Care Reform and a strong Public Option, we must contact and continue to contact every senator and the White House. It is going to be a hard battle, and, the American people need to demand true representation from our politicians.
We will no longer accept or tolerate big business running, controlling our country and making crucial decisions on our behalf.
We will no longer support or allow politicans to put campaign funding, personal gains and the party first, win at any cost mentallity over the future of our country.
It is time for us to take America back.

Calling in the heavier dutier Comrade to the Senators. We need this partison act passed even if the GOP boycott progress which appears to be their new tactic. Now we know they are afraid of Black Folk according to Michael Steel so that explains the party's strained relationship with our President Obama.

Thanks to the lobbyists, our congress critters have passed a big giveaway to the insurance and pharmaceutical industries. Nobody except maybe Kucinich (sp?) has the stones to tell it like it is. We need to completely dismantle private health insurance and go with a single-payer system like every other civilized country on the planet. This would save businesses large and small a huge amount of money that could be better spent creating jobs. This would make us way more competitive in the world economy as well. Those of you who whine about new taxes: how much are you and your employer paying for healthcare now? If we all payed half as much in taxes, "socialized medicine" as you republiclowns call it, would work as well or better than what we have now. Imagine the savings from administrative costs alone. The only losers would be Wall Street. And we all know how much they care about your health and well-being. Also ask yourselves how many doctors move here from Canada, Britain, Germany, etc.? Have a nice day!

Our main bone of contention is the 5-yr. jail and $250000 penalty for the non-compliers of HR 3962. If Bill can bulldoze thru that and other alarming apprehensions about the bill, we will listen.

Can Bill please address why congress have exempt themselves from having to enroll into this health care plan they're trying to force upon us? And where in the Constitution does it say government shall imprison Americans for not participating in obamacare?

Why has the democratic party not distanced themselves from this man? A man who swore on a Bible to tell the truth to congress and this country but LIED! For all the dem screaming about moral values and Bush lies, this reflects on their double standards. Hence, the Health Care propaganda to a public who will believe anything. This man creeps me out!

I pray every night that the healh care bill pass with the public option. We are on of the last countries to offer healthcare for their people. It's now finally the time after decades of trying to provide healthcare for all Americans. It's only the selfish people of the world who want to deny this right for everyone. Now is not the time to be is the time to pass healthcare reform.

KEEP IT GOING we need health care reform and a public option ..don't let the insurance and lobiest and the republicans take away the right to choose .
be american call your senators today and demand a public option
same thing as social security and it pays for its self.. even with government borrowing from it and never paying it back. so don't be fooled by the insurance industry . they see there ship sinking if the health care passes the senate and the president signs into law A HEALTH PACKAGE .. life will change from that day forward and history will have been made. this is the 21 century so lets act like it is and not the stone ages .

this isn't about ANY partty failing to get re elected this is about the american people . and Bill Clinton is right we need health care reform
and the big insurance companies don't want to loose the great deal of profit on our behalf . through raping us over health issues . this is so sick in this day and age to allow anyone to make such a huge profit over peoples health issues . to tell someone with terminal anything that you no longer have health insurance because of pre anything. people need to wake up and see what is happening . don't let this pass by and loose the ability for avordable coverage..
