Palin, Winfrey talk about big interview

[cnn-photo-caption image= caption="Oprah and Palin are revealing some details of their big interview."](CNN) - Sarah Palin enjoyed her highly-anticipated sit down with talk show host Oprah Winfrey so much that the two went "way over time," the former Alaska governor wrote on her Facebook Page.

But Palin gave few details of what the two discussed for more than hour, saying only that Winfrey was "very hospitable and gracious."

The former Republican vice presidential nominee also praised the show's studio audience, which she said was "full of warm, energized and (no doubt) curious viewers."

Meanwhile, Winfrey was a little more forthcoming with details of the interview, revealing in a Web video late Wednesday that the two "talked about everything."

"We talked about inside the campaign, what it felt like when she was first asked to be vice president. We talked about Bristol, the pregnancy. We talked about Trig, her baby. We talked about Levi Johnston. We talked about her marriageā€¦there's nothing we didn't talk about."

The interview will air on Monday, a day before Palin's memoir "Going Rogue: An American Life" is released.

Oprah's style is going down the chute. If she can spend a whole hour talking to Palin on personal issues, it makes me assume she had no one else to interview. What happend to the riveting guests and the magnetic environment? Gone in my opinion. Her show has gone flat.

This is a good format for her. If she says anything really stupid, it can be edited out.

I am sorry to hear people of such stature as Oprah Winfrey and Barbara Walters giving a platform to the likes of a Sarah Palin. Sarah Palin's platform is lies, deceit and anger.. She incites fear and doubt in her followers with her "death panel" and personal hatred for President Obama. She does all this under the auspices of her loving "God" Sarah is one sick , dangerous and stupid individual that receives way too much media hype.

Sarah, why bother? Since you have fumbled the ball for the GOP, Michele Bachmann has picked it up and will score.

It is hard to conceive the Palin will run for Prez as a "rogue" or outsider after sitting for an interview with Oprah. Oprah is the anti-rogue.

I think it is very gracious of Oprah, to invite Sarah Palin to her show. Oprah does not have to; she is one of the few enlightened souls in television who can treat people with differing views..... with respect. A rare thing these days.

Bravo for those who reach across party lines and ideologies to seek understanding and foster goodwill.

No news article on O-blah-blah rejecting ALL of the Afghanistan options presented to him?

Once again, the community organizer votes "present".

Thank God we have a Palin story, though.

Why isn't she home taking of her kids??? Why did she bother having them if she is jaunting all over the country??? And who makes the money in that family to pay the bills? When she was on the campaign trail her husband was with her. Doesn't he work?? What a joke that family is!!

I wouldn't buy Palin's book if it was the last book on the shelf. It would be a waste of my precious time. And I certainly do not plan on watching Oprah when Palin is on. I have no interest in what she has to say. Her political talking is all negative. She has nothing to say. And if she ever runs for President, we would be in big trouble.

This is all a waste of Oprah's time and everyone's time. Palin is like a cartoon character.

Oprah should ask Sarah Palin if she really believed the President palled around with terrorists. I would be willing to see the reaction on her face and that of the audience.

Why does Palin still get air time? Geraldine ran for VP in the 80's and we heard crickets......Palin dismantled her own party because of her run for office.

Won't be watching...I already know more than I want to about the obnoxious, extremist, fake values, dumb as dirt Palin. Nobody cares about the drama she creates to get attention and her book we all know she didn't write. Palin has gotten far more attention that she deserves. She ranks right up there with the former Miss California bimbo, the incredibly stupid former Miss Teen SC, and the nutjob Rep. Michele Bachmann.

Why don't we have focus and stories on intelligent women who contrinute to society, have real family values, and make a positive difference and influence in the lives of others?

It will be interesting to see how much of what Ms. Palin had to say is edited out.
After the program is aired Monday we will see if Ms Palin still considers that winfrey woman "hospitable and gracious.

I guess it went overtime because Oprah was constantly forced to ask her to "say again". Could you possibly rephrase what you just said? It was just a Yes or No question! Oprah was probably thinking: OMG, and this woman could have been our President!!!!

I cannot wait to see the show. Very interested in what was talked about and how Palin handled herslef.

I am not a Palin hater, but I truly feel that she is not ready to be POTUS.
She should stay focused on her children and grandchildren.
