Palin helps RGA get discount on 'Going Rogue'

Barbour, the governor of Mississippi, said Palin has been "very gracious as a former governor" and helped the group negotiate a bulk purchase price.
"We purchased them at a great discount, at the publisher's price, God bless her," Barbour said during a conference call with reporters ahead of the RGA's annual conference in Austin, Texas.
"I suspect we are going to raise a whole lot of money with this," Barbour predicted. "Hopefully we'll have to re-order."
They should've waited a few more days and get it for free. Critics, mainly RepubliCONS, are calling the book a total work of fiction. Who in their right mind would consider wasting time or money on this book of crap?
So, now we know why this book of trivia is on the best seller's list.
The Pubs bought hundreds, or thousands, at a "great discount".
There is only one word for this mess....................pathetic!
Again today, the Muscle Girly Men at CNN have created another forum for Liberal Palin Haters to Batter Palin and her entire family. CNN hates Palin, and puts multiple Ticker Articles up everyday to allow the Liberal Bashers to Batter Palin with blows below the belt, between her eyes, and in her stomach!
That is one way to sell a book. I just do not see why she feels compelled to do this at all or why the governors would need to sell her book as a fundraiser.
Things just get "stranger and stranger."
The right wing machine is buying all the books for "fundraising events". That's how this piece of trash ended up on the best seller list. Fake fans for a fiction book. Nice!
Palin talking is like a Cow's fart. You know the poor thing didn't mean to offend anyone but it stinks and in time it will fade away.
Suggestion: Look for the book at a garage sale for twenty five cents.
Discounted or "free," i don't think the intelligent readers would even glance at Palin's book. This woman, very hungry for publicity (no matter what or how), is pathetic.
Those given away at cost should not be counted as sales. In the music business that would be payola, which is unethical and illegal. For instance you cannot consider promotional items in sales counts. Payola refers to any secret exchange made to cast a product in a positive light (such as obtaining positive reviews).
Good for them, I wouldn't take it even if it was FREE.
Walmart is going to sell the book for less than ten bucks, moose, or whatever.
I went to Borders and they had a raffle which included winning Palin's book. The idea that I could WIN Palin's book just filled me with dread and I left.
How else is she going to rid of such trash???????? lol lol 🙂

By the way, how much of a discount did you get? These "books" originally listed for $21 per pop pre-release and now Walmart has them on sale for $8.95 the day after they are released.

CNN keeps putting her picture up there, I'm sure she loves that, saying that something like 90% of Americans don't think she's worthy of becoming President. News Flash, CNN, she never ran for President, or even suggested the idea even. She couldn't keep her job as Governor. She QUIT, didn't she, please correct me if I am wrong. Nobody likes a quitter. She's got so much political baggage, that even if she could run, she wouldn't, who wants to vote for a quitter? She doesn't have the votes to get elected of a small town population zero, let alone have her "politically blonde" skills broadcast on National TV. Her book is garbage. She makes Dan Quail look like Albert Einstein. She is so obsessed with her vanity that she doesn't even have the intelligence not to go around insulting major News organizations like the AP and so many others too numerous to mention. She is the dumbest person I've never met. And, believe me, there are a few dandies. Why would CNN choose to glorify her, when all the other news organizations regard her as tabloid, trailerpark trash?

I can see it now. The RNC is going to call up Democrats and threaten to send them a copy of the book in a clear wrapper unless they receive a contribution.

Never count Sarah Palin out. She is for real and so are her ideas about how to right this wayward ship. The American people are looking beyond Katie "The attack dog" Couric and understanding that what we got is not getting us where we need to be. No surprise to many of us.
