just another plan to get young military guys killed.

obama had a bunch of draft dodger like biden and gates making military decisions.

these creeps made their decisions when they allowed other men to be killed in their place while they pandered for votes or went to never ending grad schools.

    2012 can't come soon enough.

Three years to go before you are flushed out of the white house, Obama!

I am glad that he gave this some serous thought. When, you send troops, which are human lives, into harms way, you better give the situation some serious consideration. Not doing so will prove that you don't really care for our troops. After 8 years of a non-strategic war, it is time for us to shapen up, and get over our sweet, instant gratification selves, and give some thought to an actual strategy to bring down, Al-Queda. We should have only focused on Afganistan and Pakistan to begin with, not Iraq. No matter what he does, he is going to make someone mad, so I am just going to have to deal with it. As my mom says, "There will always be at least 10 percent who will complain and moan about you, no matter what you do, so don't listen to them. Doing so will only lead you astray."

Uh, Uh, Uh, how many times can that man say Uh in a 3 minute blip? Is that on his teleprompter or is that how he wings it? Love his comment on not having the resources in the past, yeah, cause he votes against anything and everything for the troops. Great job in electing this weak and naive campaigner in chief to run our country into the ground.

I bet there will be no significant loss for U.S. "defense" contractors! I bet he'll not ever expose the real truths of all this warmongering America does regularly. I bet few will tell you that "Patriotism" has little to do with U.S. policy against a "chosen enemy" that America seems to always meddle her way into creating! Few will also tell Americans just how deceived they really are and have been. These WARS have Very Little to do with our personal defense and everything to do with making money for the few who reap windfall Profits. Thanking our "troops" for their endless "sacrifice/service" has little to do with defending America and everything to do with using the poor and ignorant to carry out your agenda for Profits! Deceit is a Weapon of Mass Deception! These folks specialize in creating Confusion by Dividing and Conquering-a totalitarian trick-so they taught us in the 60's! As long as "their enemy" is very far away it is not as Noticable that the suffering is Massive and Profound! American Policy=Addicted to War! A Constitutional Scholar ought to know that letting Bush/Cheney et al bear no accountability for WAR Crimes is a VIOLATION OF HIS OATH OF OFFICE! So the Duplicity/Complicity just has a new face! Peace

...Apparently, to the real people of America,...the question should be to the White House...whether it is important to leave the conflict/war in order for the military to return home, or whether it is important for the military to win the conflict/war in order to return home?....Several family members have served and/or are yet serving in the military...RMC>served Army civilian with post military member...

So what do you tell the parents and other loved ones of the soldiers who die before he "tells the American people" what he is "going to do"? This is pure politics. He is not strategically weighing the battle and diplomatic options in Afghanistan. He is doing focus groups to see what he looks like with different options. It's all about Obama. He does not know what it means to be a President of the United States of America. He continues disappoint at all levels of duties. He is killing this country and Hillary and John both warned the idealogs who voted for him.

Soooooooooooooooooooooooo Indecisive ..... My two sons are serving for years in Iraq and now Afghan....If Bush was still the President, our mission would have been completed AND great success and we would be a very happy family!!!

Take their women! Offer all Afghan women citizenship or asylum in the USA. This will serve five purposes

    1) you will get reliable (and voluntary) intelligence from them
    2) you will save many women from abuse and oppression
    3) some troublesome males will change their ways
    4) males who refuse to change their ways will need to focus
on guarding their women instead of making IEDs
    5) the civil portion of the male population will become very
willing to help root out extremists.

its cheaper than bombing and rebuilding... but while you still have the bombers there, spray some round-up on the poppy farms!

Sounds good Boss. Finish the job and get out with an organized exit plan. No endless war. Glad he insisted the Generals include and exit plan in their strategy.

Thank you for "dithering" Mr. President. Only if Bush and Cheney had done the same prior to going into Iraq.

There are a lot of sick people making sick comments behind the anonymity of an on-line moniker. How courageous of you to suggest the bombing of an entire country. Ever think that there are people from Afghanistan reading this. "Send more troops, what's taking this President so long?", that's another battlecry. The army, last time I checked, will be happy to take you. So why don't you sign up and fight if you like war so much? We had a coup-d'etat in my country in 1965. Believe you me it is NO FUN BEING SHOT AT! Please, haven't we had enough off-the-cuff decisions affecting our military, and, ergo, our economy. Look how well that panned out for us, and for the dead. I don't know if Obama will make the right decision, but I do know that he'll stand by it and be able to justify it. He doesn't have a moniker to hide behind.

It takes money to fight wars and so far that money has been coming from China whom I'm sure don't want to be seen as a proxy in this war . Yet Americans don't seem to understand our President's delay in decision making when you've got to know where the funding is coming from before you just rush right in.

  18. Stop the War

President Obama its too bad that you succumbed to the bipartisan pressure and have blown your chance to end, or at least start to wind down, this insane war. Bush's war is now Obama's war. Sir, you are pouring blood (of other peoples kids of course) into the sand. I look forward to your announcement that you are returning the Noble Peace Prize as you clearly do not merit it. I think one positive thing you can do is to reinstate the draft – let rich people's kids be sent off to be martyred , I mean die with honour in the defence of their country.

The only thing NObama could think of to appease his whopping 18% Minority Liberal Cronies (who pull his strings) was to assign the entire Afgan war to Bush.....I have a real "News Alert" for NObama......that ain't working no mo! This is now "NObama's War of Necessity" of which he campainged. Can't escape it (although he certainly would like to)

34,00o troops and a built in run like a coward in 6 months stipulation that our ENEMIES will also know about.

Leadership, more like cowardice and he is going to put MY FELLOW VETS in harms way to half fight a war.

You don't tell your enemies all your plans unless you are a political coward who needs to genuflect to the left by saying I will run home once the surge fails, OK nancy and Harry and Soros?

    One and done.

ClimateGate and polls that show Obamacare losing 56 to 38 and NO STORIES by the MSM.
