White House crashers named in 16 civil suits

Washington (CNN) - The Virginia couple accused of crashing President Obama's first White House state dinner on Tuesday are named in at least 16 different civil suits in Fauquier County, sometimes as plaintiffs, sometimes as defendants.

A trawl through court records on Thursday revealed a more complete picture of Tareq and Michaele Salahi, who have left an extensive paper trail in federal bankruptcy and state court filings.

The couple was spotted rubbing elbows with the likes of Vice President Joe Biden and Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel at Tuesday's dinner, but the Secret Service says they were not invited.

A Secret Service checkpoint "did not follow proper procedures" to determine if the two were on the guest list, said Edwin M. Donovan, a Secret Service special agent, in a statement.

Can someone please confirm that 1) ... these people will be arrested / charges filed; 2) someone at the WH will be fired; 3) ....who was on the inside that set this up (because to say it was not an inside job would mean all the talk about security in this country is a joke).

  2. The media has been saying that no one was in danger.......

What a bunch of jerks. The two party crashers had their arms around Joe Biden......if one was a karate expert, they could have broken his neck in an instant...also what if they had picked up a fork at one of the tables.....
    Biden would have been finished.

For the media to say no one was in danger is just another example of their incompetence.

The Secret Service Head of Security should be fired immediately & these two celebrity seeking boneheads should be arrested and jailed. If BRAVO puts this woman on the Real Housewives of Washington I will boycott the network and its sponsors. This type of reckless behavior from adults old enough to know better should not be tolerated or celebrated. The fact that this women got close enough to have a picture taken with the VP and Rahm Emanuel is disghuting. What if she concealed a biological agent ? These two are deserving of having the book thrown at them. Can't wait to see a facebook picture of your perp walk. IDIOTS!!!!

Fame wanna be... They will 4 ever regret crashing that party. I blame the Secret Service checkpoint that allowed them in without following the proper procedures.. So they could as well allow terrorists to get so close to the President.. This kind of careless mistake on the Secret Service should not repeat again.. Secret Service should know that terrorist can come in harmless but more harmful and dangerous inside.

  5. What's the problem?

They were among their peers, crooks, people who have lawsuits against them, people who do not pay their taxes, people out for themselves, etc.

I think some security personells should loose their jobs. This is a very unique and different president, the security should be much tighter than others. No excuse, and those people should be charged with trespassing.

Just goes to show you that as long as a camera is around, team Obama wants to be in the picture. Whoever is in charge of security needs to be fired. What are you going to charge the gate crashers with? tresspassing? Did they present themselves as someone else? This was Obama's peoples fault.

This is indeed shocking. Too many what if's could have happened...
Presidents and cabinet members could have been killed in one night.

VP Biden didn't know who they are so he treated them with hospitality.
This couple needs to be charged and treated with what they deserve and so are the people who did not do their jobs right. That is the reality the voters expect from this incident.

The two party crashers would have been hard to tell any different from the invited guest – all a bunch of losers ie katie coruptic and the rest of the sleazebags that attended. Only biden was happy – an attractive woman actually paid attention to him.

So, if you want to be in on the "media circus".....I mean "circuit", you
have to sign up. Hope the only "signings" will be on papers
charging these two idiots with felonies.

PS: If they received an invitation, all they have to do is show it.
Nobody would have thrown it, where is it?

    My questions:
1-Who took those pictures (Biden @ Rham)?

2-How did the couple get them so fast that they could put hem in their Facebook page the following morning?

They Should Be Arrested And Charged!

What If They Were Terrorist, with C4

What Happen At The Security Check Point?
Haven't We Learn Antthing from 911?

Just because they were white, and have that look, they were able to gain acceptance.

If This couple were African Americans, Muslum, or Hispanic What do you think would of happen?

I totally agree with many comments- especially regarding who should be fired (top of Secret Service and anyone involved with the screening process at entrance) and for who set up this "visit"- In NO WAY was this an accidental event.

People do not just show up at an exclusive White House event, fully dressed for the occasion, without someone on the inside letting them know when it was, where to go and how to get past security.

With all the added ability of the Fed following recently passed legislation to allow government ability to look into our lives, ALL of the involved parties should be identified and jailed for this event.

It is this simpleton 'Real Housewives' mentality that is the reason why Palin's white trash racists are so enamored with the pageant bikini- clad bigot idiot queen.

The Secret Service should have some serious questions to answer.

It is impossible for them to have been terrorists. Obama says terrorist do not exist in America. Why blame security? Obama says there is no threat to our country's security. Obama is the one who brought down our defenses, so why should he be treated any differently. Come on, call it like it is. See it from the Obama world, call them what they are, just party crashers.

This sick publicity seeking couple should be charged with felony crimes for "breaking into" the White House. They should serve a long prison sentence to deter other nuts from trying future dangerous stunts like this.

They are not cute and funny and clever – they are criminals who already have multiple lawsuits pending against them.

We already have enough danger from domestic Republican terrorist groups like the hateful racist tea baggers, birthers, and assorted lunatics they fully fund and support. We need to make examples of people who cross the line.
